Oh my god

Nick Sanders!! Please tell me his working here, I plead to God mentally wishing he'll hear me.

"Nick!" I called out his name because he didn't seem to notice me when his head was buried in his phone. Yesss he's the one, with his curly brown locks and deep brown eyes he still has that smile and just hope his goofiness is still present too.

"Ashley!" He called my name looking quite surprised as I am now. "Oh my goodness Ashley Brooks, as in the Ash cheers I know? " he asked trying to confirm he wasn't day dreaming, it's funny tho that he still remembers me as Ash Cheers. Nick Sanders was my neighbor for eighteen years until his family moved out to New Orleans, I wonder what he's doing here but I can't hide the fact that am so glad to see him. "Nick, oh my god I missed you"I said while rushing to engulf him in a bear hug. He still smells the same, as the smell of coconut swarms me it brings back a lot of good memories. Finally releasing him from the hug he gives me one more glance taking in my attire "Hold on a sec, you're the new PA working for Michael? "He asks beaming a very bright smile showing off his fine pearly teeth. Why the heck is he smiling like that, "Yes I am, why are you smiling like that you're making me feel too self-conscious " I ask him taking a look at my self again in case I forgot to button up somewhere or my cloth fell out of place.
"Well you shouldn't be till when you meet your boss, come on let's go" he said grabbing my hand as we walked down the hall way then approached a big maybe quite too big for an office door. As soon as he was about to knock on the door his words registered in my head and I stopped his hand halfway, raising one eyebrow at me I told him I wanted to confirm my dressing again and his smile confirmed that I was good to go. Finally knocking on the door, not even waiting for the person behind it to permit us in Nick just pushed open the door the arrogant jerk is still in him.
"Hey guy, meet your new PA" Nick said smiling broadly at the man that his head is deeply buried inside his laptop
looking up from the screen I see a face that I wish I would never see ever again in this life but I guess this world is quite too small for my liking.

Laughing foolishly to my self I turn and face Nick then whispered in his ear that maybe we might be in the wrong office, because this man sitting in front of me can't be my boss. "Come on man, this is your new PA you can't just send her packing on the first day with your disapproving manners " Nick said pushing me closer to the desk trying to resist his pushes I pinch him on his arm "Ow! Ash that's not how to treat your Manager "
Yeah right I say, mentally rolling my eyes at him.
Trying to be the civilized one amongst my boss and I, "Good morning sir, am Ashley Brooks" I stretch my hand in what was supposed to be a handshake but the jerk face didn't even pay a little curtsey to my greetings instead he stood up from his chair, straightened his suit and looked past me to Nick " We have a meeting now Nick and I don't expect you to be late" then finally focusing his attention on me. "Ashley Brooks you said, meet the receptionist and get the files. We have no time to waste, and I guess you owe me an apology for hitting my car this morning"he said a smirk coming up his lips as he said the last few words, the man is really a pain in the ass and first of all he didn't even acknowledge the fact that am just starting my work here newly and maybe need a tour around the company building so that I'll no my way around but NO this guy doesn't know his manners. And secondly I apologized to him earlier after noticing that it was my fault. Just trying to be polite as per the fact that he's my boss, I quickly apologized not wasting another minute doing so. Nodding at me he took long strides and left the office reminding Nick of the meeting, staring blankly at the back of the retreating figure.
"Chill babe, this is how he usually is he'll cool out a bit you're too pretty for him not to" he told me with a wink. Slapping him on his arm playfully I ask him to show me the way to my office and he just pointed to the desk just outside the transparent glass door that is dividing the PA office from the boss's office. Well what can I say, I asked for it am stuck with this stranger.
