The scene is almost like a picture: serene and still, yet full of movement.

The trees and fallen leaves surround the blonde on the ground. Some of the leaves are crushed by paw prints, some are stained with blood. A broken arrow lies a few feet away from the naked blonde lying on the dirty earth.

Her back is covered in dried blood, the other half of the arrow next to her hand. Her blonde hair covers the top part of her back, shielding her face from view.

An older blonde, one who recognizes the woman, observes the scene with anger. It is clear someone had hurt the young woman, but who would dare hurt a Mikaelson?

A groan escapes the lips of the girl on the ground. She sits up, her hair covering her chest. Her blue eyes lazily survey the surrounding area, missing the other woman who hides from sight.

Lexi stands up, brushing off her lower body. Her entire front is covered in dried blood. "Bloody hell," She moans, snapping her fingers to make the blood disappear. She snaps again—shorts and a large, masculine t-shirt appearing on her.

"I know you're there," she calls out, buttoning the shirt. She doesn't look up when no one moves. "I'm a Mikaelson, mind you. You cannot hide from me."

A twig snaps and Lexi doesn't look up. "What happened to you?" The other blonde asks, slowly approaching the girl.

"What I want to know is who you are, thinking you can spy on me." Lexi finally looks up to meet the woman's gaze to see blue-green eyes. The long, blonde hair reminds Lexi of her own. They could be sisters.

"I'm not spying," The woman chuckles. "I would like to know who hurt you."

"Look, witch," Lexi had smelled the magic the moment she opened her eyes. "I'm not in the mood for question and answer games. My brother is dead," The woman's eyes darken. "And he didn't trust me enough to save him. Now, the rest of my family believes me to be crazy, I lost control in front of people who already don't trust me, and I ran into bloody hunters while trying to cool down. I am still fairly upset. Leave your questions to your ancestors."

"Which brother is dead?" The girl demands, grief flooding those familiar eyes.

"Why would any witch care about the blasted Mikaelson family?" Lexi scoffs, wondering why she isn't just killing or running away from the girl.

"Because it is my family too." Lexi's eyes widen ever so slightly. "Who murdered our brother, Alexis?"

Lexi stays silent for a long time. She looks over the girl's features once more. The color of her eyes, a slight change from Mikael's and Lexi's blue ones. The hair, a mix of Mikael's dark shade and Esther's blonde one. The nose, small and petite, like the rest of Lexi's siblings. Most of all, the look of a person who had been alive for much too long.

"Freya," Lexi breathes, understanding dawning on her. Freya lets a small smile pass her lips.

"You're much more perceptive than Rebekah."

Lexi hesitates before blurting out, "Finn hexed Kol. Kol died in pain while Finn is in the wind."

Freya's expression turns deadly, just like Lexi's had. It's a wonder Lexi hadn't recognized her instantly. "Finn killed our brother?" she whispers, betrayal evident.

"Yes."

Freya shakes her head, a glint of mischief now in her eyes. "Then he must be taught a lesson."

"How?" Lexi asks, her head remaining silent at the potential threat Freya could pose. "We don't know where he is—"

"He is at the cemetery," Freya says. "He went there to channel our parents after Elijah killed him in Arkansas. Though, I don't believe he deserves that power anymore."
