Chapter 8: Escape

Erwin's POV

I don't know what really happened but right now we are in panic running for our live as black smoke starts to emit from nowhere. I don't know where we are heading all we do for almost an hour now is run away from smoke that eats your soul leaving your lifeless body behind.

Me and Lyka was holding hands as Mariel, Ivy and Alexa run with us. It was only the five of us that was running away I wonder where Jhon and Maria. Since last night I didn't notice them both. I don't have much time to look for them when everything seems to be eaten by darkness. I went to their room last night but found no one there so I decided to just lead the girls in safe, I knew for sure that where ever they are they were safe.

****When the red moon arises creatures of darkness starts to creep out of their holes. They start to rule human lives by controlling their minds. It's been a year now since darkness eats up the remaining light on the surface of the earth. Human starts to live with terror in their minds, afraid that the demons will come and make them as their slave.

To many adductions slavery and murder was happening in every corner of the earth. Sun never appears since the occurrence of the red moon. Sky was stained by permanent crimson red clouds.

Dark creatures with wings fly everywhere. They claim the world as their own. Leaving no human to have any rights to live and breathe without their permission.

However on the other side mystical creatures are bound to let their existence hidden. They help the humans by simply providing them simle assistance and aid. They can't appear to the human world because it will only lead into much worst problem. When the demons trace them they will sure be in great danger.

Dan's POV

It was such a chaos when the red moon occurs. I was on the balcony behind the throne room of the court of owls. It was been a long time since I was sent here to become one of the court member.

I look down on the garden and see the peaceful surroundings far from what was actually happening on the human world. We all wanted to help but we can't risk the safety of the lives of each creature that depends on us here. We are powerful but the prophesy already stated that for 100 years the darkness will take over and that no human or mystical creature will be able to go against it.

As prophesy already stated, it only means that it will only last for a hundred years. But my concern is the human lives that were now suffering within just a year of under their dominion. I wonder how will things get back to normal and who will put an end in all of this when the hundred year came. Who will be able to stop this cruelty.

I was drifted away from my trance when I notice tiny creatures just right on my feet. They look like tiny humans. I know what they were but a form of smile starts to draw on my lips because of amazement. I know about them but it was just rare possibility for anyone to see them.

I held down and reach them as they starts to crawl up on my hand. When I finally settled them on the table on the balcony they start to fix themselves and bow their heads as a sign of respect.

"Good morning court member" the tiny sprite in green and red attire greeted me.

"Well good morning, what brought the unseen creature here in front of me?" I ask with a smile on my face as I return their greetings.

"We came from the province of Esabela to ask something about our friend. It's been a year since the last time seen her when she leave to came here and meet you" the man sprite ask me.
