Jhon's POV

I stumble to sit properly when I woke up. I can feel pain in every inch of my body. Then I struggle to gather my strength to shift into my wolf form. It was easy for me to heal when I shift and take a long run to stretch my bones.

I was running hard and as fast as I can. Memories of the things that I've been through flashes as I let my paws dig deeper in every pace I take. I can't help myself when my tears betrayed me when it flows from my eyes. My vision is now blurred because of tears and I'm already panting hard. I decided to take a sit for a while when I reach the edge of a high cliff kilometre away from the cave.

I look up in to the sky only to see the crimson stain. I start to wonder when it will disappear and that things will go back to normal, the way it was before. Then I rest my head on a hard log as I let the cold breeze of mountain hair blow my hair. Then I close my eyes as I replay into my mind everything that had happen to me for this whole year.

____flashback___

I let out a howl of frustration as the dimension completely takes my mate away from me. Then I sprint my way out of our condo to the direction where I can't actually figure out where. But somehow something is pulling me somewhere. I let my feet drag me as the pull increase. Then the pull stops right in front of an old house.

I enter on the old house's door and surprise to see that it was far from what It looks like on the outside, the interior of the house shouts luxury. With the grand staircase that leads up stair to the extravagantly gigantic door. I meet three men in an expensive suit and they bow their heads as they stop in front of me.

That's when I know that the first man to approach me was actually the right hand of my mother. I doubt him first knowing that I never heard about him before. But he gives me something that testifies his statement. He gives me the invisible crest of truth that my other and I used to talk about when I was a kid. We made a promise before, which I need to look for and keep it for her.

And that's when I know who I really was. And I can't help myself when tears start to roll down again on my cheeks. I felt broken and betrayed as anger, disgust and hatred pierce the bond on my chest that cause a lot of pain.

***Jhon silently lying on his back at the hard stony floor of the cliff. While on the dark someone was actually looking at him observing his every move.

Then his senses hit onto something that made him drive his attention towards the nearest tree beside him. He focuses his eyes as the shadow starts to disappear when she reveal herself. Jhon was too surprise as he see in front of him the girl he knew in his heart but was barely recognize by his eyes.

The girl in front of him was a stunningly beautiful creature in the night. She has bat-like wings that spread freely. She also has a tail that coils on her thigh. He was like drawn on her beautiful grayish blue eyes as he stared on it. Her wavy hair sways on the air which falls right unto her mid-waist.

But when the girl tries to approach him he instantly avoided her touch and he instantly avoided her with disgust and anger written all over his face. The girl pulls back her hand that she used to offer to him.

Maria's POV

I finally finish everything that was important to bring back the peace on earth. Then I decided to visit him not sure if he'll be able to forgive me or will he be able to still accept me as his mate. I see him lying on the ground with his eyes closed. I look closely then he finally senses my presence behind the tree where I was hiding.

Knowing that he already knows that I'm there I waste no time to approach him. But all I can feel right now is a different, broken bond between us. A sudden pang of hurt creeps inside my chest. As I catch a glimpse of his real emotion towards our bond. He immediately move away when I try to approach him. It hurts me how I see disgust on his eyes.
