"Jin... I am so sorry..."she spoke softly, gazing outside of the window, avoiding eye contact with me. I closed my eyes and braced myself for the rejection.
"I am really touched to know your feelings but we won't work out. Why would you want a relationship with a girl that can possibly die every time you guys hang out together. I am a sick person, Jin. You and I both know I can't live long-"She said sadly.
"Yume! I don't mind. We can be together until death does us apart! I will accompany you! I will love you with all my heart!"I exclaimed, clenching the fabric before my chest tightly, as I started feeling the heart break.
"Jin. The problem is that... I never saw you in that way. I always thought of you as an elder brother. I can't love you the way you want me to..."she looked at me dead in the eyes, without me knowing, tears rolled down my face.
She walked to me, wiping my tears off gently, before placing a soft kiss on my forehead, "let's just remain as best friends, Jin."
