Goodbye

~3 months later~

Camila's Pov

Three months have passed since Lauren gave me the promise ring. I don't know what is happening.. The first two months were perfect. They were spontanious, thrilling, and I had never been so happy. Lauren is slowly slipping away from me. I'm trying to give her space. But she is pulling away even more. I honestly don't know what to do about it. 

We were supposed to buy a house together, yet, she blew that off. And today, we were going to go to the mall, but she said she needed to do something. I questioned her, but she just ran off. I try not to think about it too much, but how can I not? 

Breaking me out of my thoughts I got a text. 

From: Dinahh! ;)

Chancho! I haven't seen you in sooo long! How about we go to the mall..? I'll be there in 5 minutes. Xo

I smiled at her text and dressed in high waisted shorts and a crop top sweater. I ran downstairs and went on tumblr. Soon, she was honking her horn. 

I walked out and saw a big grin on her face. She hadn't changed much, but I didn't realize how much I missed her. 

~Later at the mall~

We had been shopping for hours. Dinah and I joking about everything. We were walking past the food court looking at all the couples hugging and holding hands. Wow, did I miss that. 

"Mila, look at them! They look so cute!!" She squealed. I turned to look and it was a blondish boy kissing a brunette. They looked so happy. Once they pulled apart, I saw bright green eyes, that I knew all to familarly. 

"Din- Dinah thats Lauren" I said a tear streaming down my face. I felt my heart break in two. My world falling apart. I didn't know what to do with myself. 

Realization hit Dinah and she took my hand and led me the other way. We finally landed in the bathroom. I fell to the floor and cried. I couldn't describe how hurt I was. She just gave me the promise ring, She failed to keep  her promise. 

I slowly slid off the ring and held it in my hand looking at it for a few minutes. I reached my hand up to give it to Dinah. She took it from my hand gently. 

"Camila, I know you are hurting right now. And I am pissed at Lauren for this to. But we need to get off this bathroom floor." She said and kissed my cheek. 

Dinah held  my hand and led me out of the mall. On our way out I saw Lauren and the boy holding hands right in front of me. Dinah squeezed my hand. I let out a deep breath, I was so upset. 

"Oh, hey Lauren" I greeted with clear sarcasm. She turned around and her face turned pale white. She let go of the boy's hand and walked closer to me. 

"Camila, it's not what it looks like. We are only friends..we haven't seen eachother for a while so we were catching up. We are just good friends" She said, lying straight through her teeth. 

Thats what broke my heart even more. She lied to me. Straight to my face. How could she? I looked at Dinah and she let go of my hand. 

"No. Lauren. You aren't just friends. I watched you practically suck that boy's face off. Friends don't do that. I loved you. You literally broke my heart in two. But it's not that you cheated on me that hurt the worse. No. You lied to me Lauren." I said tears streaming down my face. 

I held me hand out to Dinah and she place the promise ring in my hand. I walked closer to Lauren and lifted her hand. Slowly I pushed her hand into a flat surface and placed the ring in her hand. 

"I'm sorry Lauren. No, you should be sorry. We are done. I can't be with someone who cheated on me, goodbye" I said sadly. 

Her face dropped and tears streamed from her eyes. Her eyes were grey and she looked like she could fall any minute. 

I started to walk past them and stopped at the boy. 

"Nice to meet you..?" I said. He looked confused. 

"Luis" He answered. 

"Nice to meet you Luis, please make sure Lauren makes it home" I said, glancing back at Lauren. 

I just broke up with the love of my life because she cheated on me. Dinah led me to the car. Time felt like it passed quickly. I have no one to stay with. I'm alone. I have no one anymore. I'm heartbroken and no one is here to hug me, or tell me that everything would be okay. 

"Dinah? Will you bring me to the nearest hotel?" I asked her. She looked at me sympathetically and nodded. 

Once we were at the hotel I collapsed on the bed. I was tired, physically and emotionally. Dinah was going to Lauren's house to get my stuff and she said she would stay with me for the night. 

My phone was blowing up.
