Who are you?

Lauren's Pov

Sometimes I wonder how someone could be so wreakless and stupid. Then I remember. Oh, right thats me. No one will talk to me. The only person that will even come close to talking to me is Alexa. 

Camila is all I think about, day and night. The way her hair is parted, the way she scrunches her nose when shes upset or confused, and the way her lips fall slightly open when she sleeps. I am foolishly in love with Camila. But I let her go.. I let her go, and that was completely my fault. 

My phone broke me out of my thoughts. Alexa wanted to meet me at starbucks in five minutes. Great. Most likely she'll scold me on how stupid I was. Trust me I know. 

~StarBucks~

Once I got to Starbucks, Alexa was sitting at a table sipping her coffee. When she saw me she smiled and picked her hand up to wave at me. I smiled back and waved at her also. I went and sat down on the other side of the table. 

"Hey Laur" She said smiling. She looked so happy, but I knew she was dissapointed in me. I mean, who wouldn't be. 

"Hey" I said back. She smile dropped and she gave me a sypathetic look. 

"Lets go to the park.. and talk, yeah?" She asked standing up. I nodded and she put her arm around my waist. 

Alexa dropped her arm off my waist to text Vero telling her where we were. I started to walk across the crosswalk. There was a very familar looking person on the other end. I guess you could say that I wasn't looking. 

"LAURENN!!" I heard Alexa scream. I felt a huge jolt of pain rush through my body. Little did I know I was on the ground with blood rushing out of me. Alexa was screaming. There were sirens and lots of people. 

"Lauren, come on.. please stay awake" Alexa said crying. I couldn't. The pain was too much. 

"I'm sorry" I slipped out before everything went black. 

Alexa's Pov

Lauren.. my best friend was hit by a car. And the car took off. 

Lauren wouldn't wake up. She has to. She won't die. She can't. 

"Lauren, please.. I- I need you. Please wake u- up." I screamed. I was told to be quiet as they lifted her into an ambulence. 

Just like that she left. They took Lauren. My best friend. I was left sitting in the middle of the street. There were so many people but I couldn't hear any of them. 

~At the Hospital~

I have no idea how I got here but I'm here. My first insticts were to call all the girls. 

(A- Alexa, D- Dinah)

D- Hello?

A- Di- Dinah? 

D- Alexa? Are you okay?!

A- No. I- Its Lauren 

D- What? What about her? Alexa, tell me

A- She's in the hospital.. Hit and run

D- Oh my god.. 

A- Call the others and get here. I can't do this alone. 

D- I'll be there in 5 minutes tops. 

After that we hung up. They did surgery to Lauren and we can see her but I'm not going to see her until everyone is here. 

Lauren's parents are on their way from Austraila. They won't be here until tomorrow at the earliest. So we will be alone with Lauren. 

I am so scarred for her. Words can't describe how lost I am. I can't do anything for her and thats what hurts most. 

"Alexa!" I heard Dinah yell. She was with Normani and Ally. She pulled me into a hug and we all exchanged hugs as we were sobbing into eachothers arms. 

"I couldn't get Vero and Lucy" Dinah said sadly. 

"They are in Africa" I said quietly. They nodded and we all sat down in the chairs calming ourselves down.

"We can go in. She's awake" I said standing up. They stood up also, slowly we made our way to Lauren's room. 

When we got there, she was laying on the bed. She was reading and looked  very confused. I couldn't help myself. I ran up to her and hugged her. 

"Um.. Sorry.. Who are you?" She asked and looked confused. What? 

"Alexa!  Your bestfriend" I said sitting at the edge of her bed. She shook her head. She lost her memory. She has no idea who I am. She doesn't remember all the laughs, the fun times, she doesn't remember anything.  

Dinah's Pov

All of us tried to ask Lauren if she remembered us, she doesn't. The only thing she remembers is her mom, dad, brother and sister. The doctor said he doesn't know if she will ever get her memory back, but we can talk to her and tell her everything that we did together. 

I couldn't be in the same room as her. I needed air. 

"Guys, I'll be right back" I said and walked out of the hospital. I stood in front of the hospital and facetimed Camila. 

I needed someone and I needed her. 

"Hello?" She answered. Her face popped up on the screen. She looked so happy to see me. I watched as her smile dropped and  she took in the things surrounding me. 

"Mila.. I- I need you" I sobbed sitting on the bench under the oak tree. 

"Dinah, Dinah, what happened? Why are you at the hospital?" She asked worried. She was clearly flustered that she wouldn't do anything. 

"I- I.. Mila.. I don't know what to do" I sobbed and pulled at my hair slightly. 

"I need you to tell me what happened. Stay calm. Deep breaths.. Talk to me.." She said soothingly. 

" Lauren, was hit by a car. The car didn't stop. They are gone. An-and she lost her memory.." I got out quickly. Camila look stuned. Tears sprung to her eyes, she cared about Lauren. A lot and we all knew that. 

"I'll be there as soon as I can. Stay strong Dinah, I love you" She said sadly and hung up. 

Oh Lauren, Please remember us soon.
