Author's Note: Okay I think I should better tell you all that this chapter will be really clichéd and awkward not to mention that it will be too short. I'm really sorry for the delay in posting updates but my phone is messed up and like I explained last chapter, its difficult typing with it now in landscape mode.
I love my characters and I have something in mind for each of them, but they all seem to have a mind of their own and I honestly can't explain that. Sorry guys.
Proceed... And don't forget to place comments where necessary and also vote the chapters. Thanks.
CLARA'S POV:
Okay, first of all, Chris has been acting weird lately.
After his mysterious disappearance a while ago, he seems different. Like now he reads in class. He actually reads. The Chris I know does not even come to class with a notebook now he has a schoolbag full of them. The only thing I knew he was good at was flirting but now, I am not so sure. He doesn't even seem interested anymore. Something happened.
I have been wanting to talk to Chris since I had the talk with Jessica in the restaurant, last week. But I didn't see him in school the rest of the week and frankly speaking, I was worried. His line was either switched off or not available.
When he finally appeared on Monday, he was acting all weird. He bluntly yet quietly and sincerely told Chioma, his girlfriend, I think, that he was done with her. Having witnessed the 'breakup' I lost my morale. I just gave up on trying to talk to him.
But I didn't entirely give up. I mean, I couldn't. Nobody changes that fast and Hello! We're talking of Chris. The Chris. I resorted to stalking him.
Later that day, being yesterday, I saw him talking with Jeremiah. The Jeremiah! But he was more of like apologising or so because he had his head down most of the time. I was taken aback when I saw Jerry slap him, hard, on the cheek. I wanted to intervene but decided against it. Maybe Chris will snap back, but he didn't. He just took it all in. Weird!
I followed him for the rest of yesterday and observed lots of things. Weird and strange things, might I add. He obviously avoided most of his pals. But I saw him chatting with two of them. I can't remember their names but they too seemed to be in the same mood as Chris.
When I finally went home, I couldn't think straight, so I could not sleep well. I decided to go to the bank inside school and withdraw some money this morning before our first lecture. But on my way here, I saw Chris.
