Jessica's POV.

"Good afternoon ma, please am looking for Jeremiah."

Finding Jerry's place wasn't difficult at all, believe me, I think he's quite popular in his own way.

It happened two days after the 'Hi incident'.

I had left school with Francesca, a friend of mine, after lectures. We ended lectures quite early and so I decided to spend some time with her at her lodge. I was just a week old in my new department then, and Francesca was technically my best friend as at the time. I also wanted to know grounds as she would put it.

When we reached her place, we just chatted or rather gossipped our day off, laughing at events, mocking people, playing games and unsuccessfully trying to read.

She had brought up the incident of two days ago. She really found it very funny:

'That guy is a joke!' She had stated.

'What makes you say that?' I asked curiously.

'What do you mean?' She looked at me like I was kidding.

'Jeremiah actually came to talk to you and you don't find it funny?' She was now practically watching me with one eye.

'What's wrong with that?' I was getting more and more anxious by then.

'Everything' she said in a matter-of-fact tone. 'Everything is wrong with that'

'Honestly, I still don't see anything wrong with it' I shrugged 'moreover he just said Hi'.

'And what did he do thereafter?' She asked me, almost laughing.

'Okay, that's the funny part' I admitted reliving the incident.

'Trust me babe,' she tapped me, thus waking me from my reverie 'you don't want to have anything to do with that guy' she finalised pointing outside from her window.

I walked up to see what she was pointing at.

'What's he doing here' I asked quite surprised to see Jerry around.

'He lives around the corner' she then looked at me eye ball to eye ball. 'With his parents'.

'And what's wrong with that as well!' She was beginning to surprise me I must say.

'Are you kidding me?' She looked at me, shocked.
I just looked at her and shrugged

'Who does that' she shouted, yeah she shouted. 'Who stays with his parents during his university days?'

Was that even a question?

'I would if I could' I told her honestly.

She was frustrated, I could see it.

'Just forget about the guy' she finally said after she'd gone back to her bed.

I turned back and looked out from the window to see Jerry knocking at a gate. I took it to be his house and suddenly I felt a smile creep up to my face as I saw him enter the now opened gate.

Why did I feel like a stalker!

Well here I am, at his house, probably looking at his mother.

"Jeremiah!!!" She shouted. As I admired her.

Jerry's mother, if I'm guessing alright, is quite young. Scratch that, she is very young. She plaited her hair with the local thread and I must admit that she's making me fall in love with the material and hair style. She's fair and pretty. Probably in her early forties and has a very captivating smile.
