"Five minutes more!"

I freeze. It's not that I haven't finished my work but because I simply don't appreciate the tension  our supervisor's announcement tend to put me in.

I quickly turn my answer booklet over and start to cross-check my work for the fourth time. Yeah, I finished long ago. The perks of having reading as a hobby.

I glance through my work and when I'm done, I finally look  up to for the first time since the exam started. I acknowledged my neighbors, sitting partner and the girl opposite me. They all seem to be doing just fine.

My eyes then wander round the hall until I spot Jessica. She's sitting opposite Clara and she's looking at me. Like our eyes met. I quickly look away.

I had managed to not meet any of them since Sunday and it's Thursday already. It's not easy, considering that they've been coming to my house since Monday. I just lock myself away in  my room until they leave.

I quickly look at my book and cross-check my identity very well again then I stand up to submit. I have to submit before everyone else if I want to avoid those trio.

"Sir. " I call out as an invigilator walks past me.

I notice Jessica look up and I turn around and head towards the exit.

"Excuse me sir." I heard someone else say. I don't know who it is as I'm already outside the hall.

I sigh and start trekking to the nearest bus stop while plugging in  my earpiece and pressing the 'shuffle all' button on my phone. I don't like that I have spent more money on  transport this week than I have spent since the semester began.

"Jerry!" My earpiece is yanked off from behind and I think it cut. Who's that?

Someone walks up to my front as I'm still trying to understand what just happened. I loved that earpiece. I look up and almost immediately, I regret doing so.

"Jessica?" I mutter some curses. "Hi"

I hear people running behind me and I turn to see Chris and Clara heading towards me with a furious look on  their face. Soon enough they catch up.

"Jay," Chris calls out breathlessly, I thought he was an athlete, "If I fail this course, I'm so going to kill you."

"Don't you already have enough carry over courses. One more won't hurt." Clara quickly told him earning a glare from the other two.

"Jerry!" She awkwardly turns to me, trying to change the topic.

"We need to talk" I turn back to Jessica.

"Well, we are" I shrug

"Laboratory. Now!" She states. She's obviously not happy.

"No, please not the Lab." Clara pleads. "I fainted the last time and I don't plan on  having a second experience of hell in that health center. "

We all look at her and seem to be reasoning with her. I personally don't want to ever go near that health center again.

"Let's go to Thrillers. I'll pay" Clara breaks the silence.

Of course she'll pay. This girl is rich. Have I mentioned that she has a car? Like a cool one? I don't really know the model of the car or anything about cars in general.

"I'm with Clara" I blurt out.

What! I have never been to the Thrillers restaurant inside school here. I hear they're expensive though, really expensive. I've even heard that they purposely built it close to the bank area in school, so that after you withdraw, you'll just step in  and spend.
