No Author's Note. Actually I just want to save my energy now for typing. I'll meet you at the end of the chapter. And hei, its 2:25 a.m. So you can't really blame me for being tired as I just woke up. Literally.
This chapter is dedicated to my WattPad Love: Jerubel_Keziah
CLARA'S POV.
I knew Chris had internal bleeding.
Am starting to consider being a nurse. Well, after my course its not like I have any option than to work in a laboratory of a hospital, so, am getting there. Nursehood here I come.
I actually don't know what the doctor said, well, because it was a long list and he was kinda fast. Plus that am the type of student that don't understand lectures firsthand. All I could figure out from the long speech he gave was that, Chris has internal bleeding.
After the speech, the man asked us if we knew his parents or any guardian and we straight out denied it saying that Chris was just a friend. I felt like a bad friend then. But then, we really can't contact any of his family since his phone is locked and Jerry says he can't hack through the phone just to get a contact. Worse still, Chris is among the very few people I know, along with Jerry, that stores their contact in Google using their Gmail account.
Anyways, in case you're wondering, we're at the school's medical center. This place is not really the best but it has discounts, heavy discounts, for students like us. And it is the closest clinic or medical canter around.
Honestly, I want to go home. The smell this place exhumes is completely irritating to the nose, my nose. Jerry and Jessy seem to be comfortable with it. I wonder how I managed to survive here the few days I spent here. And sincerely I cant stay here not even if my boyfriend is involved.
"I think I'll be going now" I announce to the duo sitting besides me on the corridor bench. Both of their heads snap at me. They're probably condemning me now.
"You should see your face!" Jessica blurts out and starts laughing. Am seriously embarrassed.
"You're really uncomfortable, aren't you?" Jeremiah asks smiling a bit.
"Is it that obvious?"
"Well, aside from the fact that you look like you're about to throw up like crazy right now, I think its not obvious." Jeremiah sarcastically blurts out.
"Thanks for the vote of confidence, Jay."
"You're always welcome." He winks at me. It's something he does to piss me off. He knows how much I hate it.
"Am outta here. Just tell Chris I care." I say as I start heading out. "Its not like he doesn't know, of course!" I quickly cover up. You never underestimate the power of their brain. They can see things in different ways you could never imagine.
"Yeah, we know. We'll just wait till either of us wants to go home." Jessica says.
"Yeah, just go! Let's hope Chris knows you really care!" Jeremiah finishes, smirking.
