Briar lay among the blue satin sheets, waiting until she was sure Petyr was asleep. After a moment or so she slipped from the bed and tiptoed across the floor to where her pink almost see through nightgown lay discarded. She quickly pulled it on, not forgetting to grab the small flickering lantern off of the bedside table. Before leaving the room briar looks back at her sleeping husbands face, praying to the gods he didn't wake up and find her missing.

Briar knocked quietly on the boy kings door, hoping that maybe he had fallen asleep. unfortunately today was not her lucky day.

"come in."

Joffrey's voice echoed through his silent cell. When Briar entered his usual arrogant smirk returned to his lips.

"Lady Briar, you came."

"I did."

she replies, standing in the doorway.

"come, sit.'

Joffrey pats the place on his bed beside him whilst putting down the large knife he had been previously sharpening. Briar hesitates before walking over, lantern in hand, and cautiously sits down beside Joffrey.

"well don't you look ravishing."

Joffrey smirked licking his lips while taking in the vision of beauty that sat before him. Briar smiled lightly before speaking,

"why did you call me here tonight Joffrey?"

"i told you at the wedding did i not Lady Briar."

"...yes, but why tonight? why my wedding night?"

"why, so i can show you how much better i am then Littlefinger."

Joffrey spat out Petyr's name like someone had just told him his wine had been poisoned.

"Listen, Joffrey, what we 'had' was.......special. but I am a married women. It would be..irresponsible for me to be seen gallivanting around with—"

  "Shut up."

Joffrey snapped standing up clenching his fists,

  "Joffr—"

"Shut up, shut up, SHUT UP."

Joffrey grabbed his sword for its sheeth, smashing through the ornate egg shell blue vase that had been a gift from Dorne. shards of glass flew around the room and Briar screamed, covering her mouth with her hand. She looked at the seething boy through now watery blue eyes, trying to calm her breathing.

"I AM YOUR KING! YOU DO NOT GET TO TELL ME WHEN THINGS ARE OVER!"

joffrey pointed his sword at briar.

"do you understand?"

Briar didn't reply, instead she shut her eyes tight and looked away from the king.

"look at me when i'm talking to you."

he demanded, roughly grabbing her face with his hands and forcing her to look at him.

"Do you understand?"

".....y-yes, my liege."

"good."

Joffrey smirked, letting the sword slip from his grasp and clatter against the chamber floor, he released her face from his tight grip and sat down beside the now silently crying girl.

"i'm glad you see things my way."

he gently whipped the tear from her cheek and Briar felt foolish. she was showing weakness, something she was not accustomed to and would definitely not grow to like. so, just like she had been taught she bit her tongue, and forced a smile onto her quivering lips.

"there's that smile."

Joffrey coed, his loving tone making Briar want to hurl. Joffrey kissed Briar, his lips warm but hard. and although everything inside of her begged her to pull away and slap him across the face. She was far to self preserving for that and decided to just go along with it, no matter how much it made her skin crawl. So she kissed him back. It wasn't long before Joffrey began to grow tired of just kissing and decided to use his hands to rip open the front of Briar's favourite nightgown. Anger flared up inside her chest but thought it best not to say anything so instead she just let him marvel at her like the foolish young boy he was. Briar rolled her eyes after realizing that if she didn't do something soon he would never stop staring. So, she straddled his lap, pushing him down onto the bed and tore open his shirt like he had done to her. 'better to get this done as quick as possible' she thought shedding her night gown completely and reconnecting their lips.
