5 years later (Jungkook)

I got a new place in Seoul. I wanted to start fresh. Everything in my old home reminded me so much of Ani it hurt. In our new home I have a few stuff that remindes me of her but it doesn't hurt as much.

Baek-hyeon was 6 years already. He was growing into such a sweet boy. He reminded me so much of my Ani. He loves playing soccer and he loves having his cousins over. I wish he could have siblings but I couldn't give him any.

"COMMON BAEK-HYEON YOU CAN DO IT"

We were at one of his soccer games. Taemin was with us since Yoongi and Tae went to Busan.

Taemin:"YES BAEK-HYEON. GO BAEK-HYEON"

I was sitting on the bleachers watching Baek-hyeon play when I noticed a familiar figure across the field. I looked at it and I couldn't believe my eyes.

It was her.

My Ani was infront of me smiling and waving at me. My eyes teared up and a smile apperaed on my face. I rubbed my eyes to wipe away my tear. When I looked out in the field again she was gone.

' She is always watching us'
I thought to myself.

Taemin saw me tearing up.

Taemin:"Are you okay samchon jk?"

"Yeah don't worry. Let's cheer Baek-hyeon"

We started to cheer again until the game was over.

"Hey Baek-hyeon"

Baek-hyeon:"Appa did you see me score?"

He had the biggest smile ever.

"Yes I did. I'm so proud of you son."

Taemin:"Good job Baek-hyeon"

Baek-hyeon:"Thank you cousin"

"Common guys let's get a celebratory snack"

Baek-hyeon was on my shoulders and I grabbed Taemin's hand and we walked to the car.

"So where do you wanna go?"

Baek-hyeon:"ICECREAM!!!"

"Woah it's kinda late but alright since you scored"

Baek-hyeon:"Yessssss"

Him and Taemin high fived each other.

Time passed
When we arrived home the boys were both asleep so I had to carry them in the house. I put them in Baek-hyeon's bed.

"Goodnight Baek-hyeon"
I gave him a kiss on his forehead.

"Goodnight Taemin"
I rubbed his head gently.

I was really tired but I couldn't go to sleep just yet.

I went to my office and started to work in some papers. I was pretty busy most of the time but I put work aside and focused on Baek-hyeon. Because of that I would have to work late at night.

I started to work in a company. They played well and they didn't ask for a lot of hours in the building. I was able to do most of my work outside of the building. It was a bit easier but I had a lot of work, too much work. I would quit but I don't do it because of Baek-hyeon. I wanna spoil him and give him a home. I don't want us to be struggling. I always want him to have clothes, a roof over his head, and food.

Luckily throughout the years he hasn't asked for his eomma. There was a time he said he wanted one but then he turned to look at me and hugged me. He said he was fine with just his appa. It would be so hard to talk to him about Ani. It would be even more hard to tell him how she left.

I was lost in my thoughts "working" when my phone rang.

"안녕(hello)"

Taehyung:"Dude can I come over?"

"Yeah sure. What's wrong?"

Taehyung:"I'll tell you when I get there"

He hung up the phone he seemed down.

*knock knock*

"Hey come in"

Taehyung:"Hey"

We went to my living room and say down to talk.

"So what's wrong?"

Taehyung:"Mi-na and I are having a lot of issues. I love her so much I don't wanna loose her"

"Look man its just a phase in your relationship. Every couple has issues, some have a lot some don't. You guys will get through it."

Taehyung:"I really hope you're right. Thanks man for your words I really needed to talk with somebody."

"No problem that's what friends are for"

Taehyung:"Sorry I bothered you I'll be going now I want to see if I can talk to Mi-na."

"Alright see you later"

Taehyung left and I went back to work. In times like this I really wished Ani was here with me to help me with our son and the house.

She isn't here but my son is and that is all that matters.
