Lux's POV
"Jinx can you hurry up in there!" Poppy shouted while knocking the bathroom door.
"You can't rush perfection shortstuff..." Jinx shouted back.
"I'm not rushing perfection, I'm rushing you..." Poppy said.
"My hair doesn't end up like this when you rush it you know?" Jinx raised an eyebrow while opening the door.
"Yeah yeah, now move over, it's my turn!" Poppy pushed Jinx a little and I heard her shut the door, Jinx sighed.
She then went to the door for the walk-in closet to change.
"Lux are you done changing? I'm going in next..." Jinx said while knocking the door.
"Just one minute..."
"Hurry up I don't wanna be rushed again when Poppy's done bathing..."
"Just one button left..."
I opened the door and let Jinx in.
"Ugghh, it's about time!"
So I went in my room to prepare my things for school.
I checked all my stuff and saw one book not present.
"Hey guys, where's my Math book?"
"Maybe it's on the table Lux, I saw it a while ago..." Janna answered.
I went in the living room and saw my supposed to be Math book because of the torn pages.
"What happened to my Math book?"
"Maybe Kuro chewed on it, besides, Kuro loves chewing..." Jinx answered while taking off the towel on her head.
"Kuroooo...did you chew this?"
I said while waving my book.
"Purrroar roarrr!" Kuro purred.
"How can I even fix this?"
"Can you hand me that, I have an idea..." Janna said.
"Ah ah ah, remember, no powers" I said while grinning and waving my finger side to side.
"Oh, I'll just get the tape..." Janna made an 'O' shaped mouth.
"Let's go, or we will be late" Poppy said while putting her bag on her back.
"Here's the tape Lux..." Janna handed me the tape.
"I'll just tape this to school, let's go now!" I exclaimed.
"Wait for meeee!" Lulu said while putting Pix on her backpack.
We went outside and locked the door behind us.
The sun is shining on the morning sky and many people rushing towards the bus with a briefcase on their hand.
"Hurry up slowpokes or we'll be late for first period!" Jinx shouted, looking excited.
"Jinx why are you so excited about school anyway?" Poppy shouted back.
"I'm excited about lying on the grass again or paint my eyelids with fake eyes to skip Math class, see I'm doing what humans do...I'm thinking like a tinker!" Jinx explained.
"Come on, I think I heard the bell ringing..." I said while running.
So we ran and ran and passed many obstacles like benches, fire hydrants, and people, lots and lots of people blocking our way.
As we passed a huge wave of people, I heard some loud explosion and looked at the sky and saw a huge smoke coming from downtown, I also looked at the TV store and saw what's happening...
"These aliens are back and it looks like they're stronger than ever, so Guardians, if you girls are out there...please save us!" The reporter said, then the camera was destroyed by a huge block of concrete hitting it.
"Ummm, guys, what are we going to do now?" Poppy asked while pointing to the sky.
"I don't wanna miss school, but people need help, so let's save them first..." Janna looked at the sky.
"But how about my ideas?!" Jinx said while being so worried.
"You can do that later, but now, we have to protect this town first" Poppy said.
I told you guys, these Dark Stars won't let us rest, they won't even let us go to school without doing much more trouble.
That's what I always say: Always Be Prepared...
