Chapter 8 : New Experiences

Lux's POV

We tip toed our way out of the school and flew downtown. We already changed our forms in the restroom a while ago.

We saw explosions and fireworks covering the bright sky.

But when we touched the ground, the Dark Stars flew away, But why?

"Why are the Drool Stars flying away? We haven't even laid a single rocket at them..." Jinx said with depression on her face.

"Yeah, and who are those?" Poppy pointed at five figures talking, One has orange hair, one has Violet hair, another has curly, mint-green hair, another one has short, yellow hair with a mix of blue, and last was all long and yellow.

Wait a minute, there's no way that's them...maybe just a coincidence?

I walked towards them 'cause their backs were facing us and I wanna talk to them, but when I was about to open my mouth, they flew away with Sparkles and Glitters trailing their way.

"Woah, what the?" Poppy said as they ran towards me.

"Who are they?" Lulu asked while hugging Pix.

"Uhmm I don't know..." I answered her which made her sad.

"They're our fellow Guardians...." We turned to Janna, shocked on what we've just heard.

"Wait, what?" I raised an eyebrow on Janna, while the others stayed quiet.

"She's right Guardians..." We turned to the voice we heard and saw them.

"Thresh?"

"They've escaped from my lantern 'cause of someone's dirty, little hands." He narrowed his eyes on Kha'Zix.

"Look Thresh, I've told you for the thousandth time, the pink one managed to Charm me and told me to release them, what can I do?" He explained.

"Whatever you filthy, worthless cockroach. As for you all, you Guardians disgust me!" Thresh grimaced as he said that.

"You Drool Stars did the same to us!" Jinx answered back which made Thresh angry and flew away.

I saw Varus winked at Jinx then followed them, I turned to Jinx, she looked away, I think she was - blushing?

"Wait!" But it was too late, They flew away without looking back.

"Real smooth, Jinx, real smooth..." I said to Jinx which made her eyes roll.

"Why would you talk to that stupid excuse for a villain anyways?" She asked while walking away.

"I wanted to know what kind of deal did the First Star agreed with the Dark Stars!" She stopped and looked back.

"I know what they agreed on, I'll tell you when the time is right..." Then she flew away.

"What the?" I looked at them, all shrugging from confusion.

All of us were quiet, the sidewalks were empty, stores were closed, seems suspicious if you ask me.
