Chapter 13 : A New Rivalry

Lux's POV

The bell suddenly rang, and seconds later, all the students came rushing down the hallway.

We all followed them, until we finally reached our first class.

Ms. Elijah went in, followed by 3 girls; one with very long, bright orange hair, another one who has short, white hair, and last one who also has short, but violet hair.

"Hello everyone, here we have 3 new students that just enrolled here, introduce yourselves girls..." Ms. Elijah motioned for the girls to introduce themselves.

The one with very long, bright orange hair moved forward and said, "Hi guys! My name's Zoe and you can call me, uuuhhhh, well, Zoe! I looooove mooncakes and don't underestimate me or my height cuz I can whoop your butt in one second and, uuhhhhh, my name's Zoe once again!"

What a Hyper kid....

Next, the one with white hair took a step forward, I think she's shy.

"Hi, my name is Anna, and you can call me Anne or Anna..." She introduced.

The one with violet hair looked at me, very evily-like before she took a step forward.

"Hi, my name's Morianna, and you can call me Mori or Moria, or whatever..." She then glared at me after she introduced, I gulped nervously and looked away.

"Ok girls, thanks for introducing yourselves, you may now take your seats..." Ms. Elijah requested.

They all nodded and sat to three empty seats.

I felt eyes on me, so I just tried shrugging it off and listened to the teacher.

It was our recess, so the cafeteria is where we're going.

I can't take off that violet haired girl in my mind, I can still feel her petrifying gaze at me.

"Hey! Earth to Lux!" Jinx nudged me, which made me snapped back to reality.

"Oh, why?" I asked.

"You're acting weird lately, what's going on? Is something bothering you?" Poppy asked worriedly.

"Relax guys, I'm totally fine, stop worrying so much..." I explained, which calms them down a little.

We entered the cafeteria, and went to an empty table, suddenly, Zoe walked towards us.

"Hi girls! I know that we barely just met but...Can I join you?" She asked while holding a lunch bag.

"Oh, sure! Zoe isn't it?" I asked.

"Oh yes! I'm so glad you remembered! By the way, thanks for accepting my offer!" She exclaimed excitedly, This is one Hyper kid...

As she sat down, she took her Mooncake out of her lunch bag and pulled out a carton of milk.

We all talked about things and stuff, then suddenly, I saw him.

He was sitting with Ahri and the others, he glanced at me and smiled.

I blushed and looked away, but Zoe took noticed of this.

"Lux? Why are you red?" She asked, I heard the girls holding their screams, and I swear if they scream, I'll be flipping all these tables and walk out.
