Kei sat next to Mori with Hani sitting across from them between two of their guest. Mori's arm was draped over the back of the couch while also stretched out behind Kei. Kei's guest for the day had left so he had decided to join his friends, something that happened quite often with either Kei joining them or vice versa. Usually Kei could be found close to the cousins, never truly straying from them for too long as well as the cousins gnawing anxiousness at leaving Kei by himself. He was known to start a bit o trouble every now and again.

The Tokugawa's, Morinozuka's, and Haninozuka's have been close for centuries. The Morinozuka's had once served the Haninozuka's long ago but later closed the ties by marriage and brought their two houses together. Both the Haninozuka's and Morinozuka's had served the Tokugawa's and have the longest standing alliance with the Tokugawa's than any other house in Japan. Not that it matters much anymore. Japan is no longer at war with itself so the alliance between the houses is merely a symbol of the friendship and bond between them. The Tokugawa's have no legal binding to either Haninozuka or Morinozuka but that was to change soon with the bringing together of the house Morinozuka and Tokugawa; which will bring all houses together in the end.

Kei has known Hani and Mori all his life. When he was in elementary school he had been quite the trouble maker but Hani and Mori had stuck it out with him through and through because it was their duty to make sure he succeeded. They saw it as their job to look after Kei, as their ancestors had done for his centuries before. Kei honestly couldn't remember a time when he hadn't known the two cousins. They were always there for him, especially during his hardest times. When his brother died Kei fell into a deep depression. He began pushing Hani and Mori away but they refused to give up on him and eventually, with the encouragement of his father, helped him overcome it. Kei didn't know where he would possibly be without them. Especially Mori.

Kei watched Hani talk animatedly to his guest and they gushed over him. Kei couldn't help but smile watching his tiny companion. He could remember a time not long ago that Hani had become sad for quite sometime and refused to participate in any of the things he liked. Both he and Mori had tried to convince him to let go and allow himself to be happy but he wouldn't listen. He was just too stubborn. A trait that had been passed down to them all.

Now he couldn't help but smile while watching Hani bask in the cute things and eat so many sweets. His friend was happy and that made him happy.

Kei spoke sometimes with the guest but mostly sat back and observed with Mori. Mori was Kei's best friend. They had always been inseparable. Ever since Kei could remember Hiroki would tease Kei, saying that Mori was like his left foot and he couldn't go anywhere without him. It was true though. Kei and Mori were always together. They truly couldn't stand to be apart. Whenever Kei was out of sight Mori worried for him. Whenever Kei was alone he yearned to be with Mori. They were like Yin and Yang.

Looking over to Mori, Kei can't help but to smile at him. Mori, catching his gaze, returns the gesture with a small smile of his own. It might not have meant much to most people but Kei knew how special it was to get a smile from him. It made his heart warm....

Kei had been having a fine day in the club. He was spending most of his time with Hani and Mori and there wasn't a theme for the club that day. Hani and Mori's guest always found it refreshing when Kei joined them. Kei was calm and level-headed but could hold a good conversation. He was polite but had a mischievous side to him that resided just below the surface. A trait from his younger years which he could not abandon.
