*Sorry for the late update!  Enjoy!*

Hello everyone!  I hope you all have had a fantastic week and weekend!  Little update on The Host Club's Accountant: I am working on it, but unfortunately Wattpad deleted a lot of my drafts.  Most I had saved, but there was some content lost so I've working on rewriting and getting it back up to where it once was, but be expecting it soon!  Hopefully Wattpad behaves for me now that they've done some maintenance.

"The Refreshing Battle in Karuizawa!"

Kei panted as sweat ran from his brow and dripped from his chin.  He gripped the wooden sword tightly, holding it out as he faced his opponent.  The dojo was quiet as both were out of breath, but neither one were close to giving up.

"Is that all you got?" Kei huffed out, raising his sword a little higher and preparing his strike.

"Not a chance," Shinobu panted out with a smirk as he too raised his sword at his sons impending attack.

Kei wasted little time after that, lunging forward with great speed, he struck out attempting to hit his father's side.  Shinobu counters his move.  Stepping to the side as Kei thrust his weapon at him continuously.  Their swords battered off one another as both Tokugawa's fought to be the best.

"You're good Son," Shinobu breathes out, side stepping once more and plunging his weapon forward as he saw an opening.  "But not quite good enough."

"Ha!" Kei exclaimed, moving just at the right moment and blocking his father from hitting him.  "I feel bad for you old man.  Maybe I should be taking it easy on you." Kei jumped and rolled, evading his father.

"You kidding?  This is me at half strength." Shinobu grunted as they both caught their swords on the others.  Weapon against weapon.  They stood still for a moment or two as father and son stared at each other at eye level, breathing heavily.  Kei's eyes were wild and excited while Shinobu's were calm and collected.

Kei stepped once again, but this time was not fast enough to block his fathers charge and the tip of the sword knocked against his left thigh.  Shinobu grinned as did his son as they both finally collapsed onto the mats, laughing in exhaustion.

This was Kei's favorite time of the year.  He always spent his summer vacation studying, spending time with Mori, and his father took off as much work as he could to make sure they could spend time together.  Every year since his brothers passing, Shinobu has made it a point to take off time during this point in the year.

Kei and his father had gone on many different adventures together over the years throughout different summer vacations, but times like these were the best.  When it was just him and his father relaxing and having fun.

"I'm never going to beat you," Kei gasps out, rolling onto his side as he catches his breath.

"With time you will," Shinobu chuckles, "You almost had me there a few times."

They both smile at each other.  Shinobu looked at his son with pride.  He had grown into a strong young man who he felt proud to know he would eventually pass over his chair to.  Kei looked at his father with admiration.  He strives to be like him in every way.

"Come on.  Let's go relax and have some tea." Shinobu says, standing and offering his hand to his son.

They walk to the back screened in porch where a low table with cushions surrounding it awaits them.  A servant is already standing by and holding a kettle at the ready.  Everyone in the estate knew the schedule by now.
