Ch. 12

It was really dark, I could see my own hand from my face. As a matter of fact, where is my hand?
All I can feel is wind rushing past me. Am I on a mountain? Is there a storm coming?
I hear somebody waking up to my right I don't know who they are but they sound familiar. I feel something around my neck. It's pushing up against my torso.
Very suddenly, I feel pain across my body. I fell on something hard but yet soft. I gasped from the sudden pain.
What is happening?
Not one second later do I also hear a gasp of pain to my right.
Who are they?
I cannot move for it hurts too much. But, the person to my right seems to have no problem like they have done this thousands of times before.
Oh, now I know, we were falling. But from where? Why? How?
I used all the energy I have left and pushed myself up. Where did all my energy go?
The only thing I can do is stand on my knees and look around. The only problem is is that it's too dark to see anything.
Suddenly the thing around my neck starts glowing a bright yellow color.
Now know I remember, it's a necklace. How did I get it?
I pushed myself up to my feet and went over to the thing that was falling with me.
It is a child, But they look so familiar. Why do they look so familiar?
I look closer to see they're looking at me with fear and confusion in their eyes.
Then it clicked, this is my friend, frisk.
"Are you ok Frisk? Why are you so scared?"
Something must have clicked in there brain because they no longer looked scared.
They start to sign, "I am fine this is not the first time this happened."
I started nod even though I don't know what they meant.
"Follow me." They signed afterwards.
I nodded again and followed. It did not take long to get the end of the purple room. The necklace around my neck provided enough light to see.
But, I don't think Frisk noticed. I wonder why?
We went through the two big purple doors. Once we went through I saw a familiar flower.
Their head was down when they said, "Hehe so you decided to reset? Were you bored? Or did you just want to do a genocide run again? Or did you just want to make Sans suffer? You do realize you broke your promise right? You might not just be an idiot aft-"
He stopped his rambling once his head was up. He noticed me. He noticed the locket around my neck.
Then his two soulless eyes showed fear and confusion. Never would he would ever be scared.
Suddenly he disappeared in the ground. I was confused by this and so was frisk but they brushed It Off.
Frisk and I heard soft steps coming our Direction.
I could see the relief on frisks face. They also seems a bit happy.
When a familiar goat monster went through two purple doors I knew who they were.
"Toriel-" I started.
For some unknown reason Frisk put their hand over my mouth. I looked over and there direction is questioning way. They just took their head 'no'.
Although I was confused I trusted frisk.
"Hello my children, do not be afraid, I am toriel caretaker of the ruins. I pass through this place every day see if anyone has fallen down. You two humans are the first to come down here in a long time. Come! I will guide you through the catacombs!"
There I was standing, confused of how she did not know us. But I only thought for a quick second for I had to follow her.
I look to my right to find Frisk wasn't there. Instead they are walking with Toriel.
I was not far behind until I saw a glowing light.
It was that same star with that so-called safe point. I went to touch it again for it to say, "The Shadows of the ruins looms above, filling you with determination."

From there we only went forward. Toriel lead us through multiple puzzles. I did not understand why they were there but didn't question it. She had to leave actually but we kept on going even though she told us not to.
Eventually she asked us if we like cinnamon or butterscotch.
I told toriel that Frisk like both and I liked (cinnamon/butterscotch/both).
Every now and then I would see safe point again and use it. I don't know the use of the save point, but save anyways just in case it's important in the future.
We eventually got to toriels home if I am correct.
She scolded at us for leaving without her permission but wasn't mad for long.
It turns out she made butterscotch cinnamon pie.
We ate it and then took a nap.
But I couldn't seem to sleep. Even though I was completely exhausted. Eventually after about 30 minutes of just lying down I drifted off to sleep.
When I woke up it was the same time frisk woke up to. We decided we want leave to explore further through the ruins to get back on the surface. So, we went over to toriel to say our goodbyes.
She argued a bit with us, but said yes after a while because I am legally an adult and can take care of frisk.
With that, we set off to our journey.
We walk down a long purple Corridor vented up to a large purple door. We went through the door to find a patch of grass. Frisk looked confused for a second, but then we kept on going.
We finally made it to the second set of purple doors and went through it.
As soon as we open those doors, I want to close them. It was so cold! But that was expected since we're in a mountain, if I am correct.
Frisk was the first to go through the doors then I. I noticed we were walking on snow, that would explain the cold.
Eventually I felt like I was being watched.
But not just one pair of eyes, but hundreds.
