The next morning I woke up, prepared for what today would throw at me. I was finally moving out!

I mean think about it... in life we're born, expected to grow up into these young innocent kids, that eventually grow up and move out, to start our lives as adults working in an office for endless hours upon endless days.

I don't know about you... but that's not how I want my life to go down.

I hugged my parents goodbye, my mother crying again.

She held me in her arms. And to this day I'll never forget what she told me.

"You're gonna do great things in this world babygirl. Dream it and make it a reality."

And with that heartbreaking moment I drove off down the road.

Waving my parents goodbye.

I'm glad I left. But at the same time a part of me felt empty.

I was scared.

On my own.

I had grown up to quickly.

The adult world is finally sinking in.

But the saddest part?

Little did I know that I would never see my parents alive again.
