Chapter 4: My Arrival

I finally made it to Beth's house. I walked up, and opened the door.

"You're here!!" I heard Beth shriek as she ran down the stairs.

She had music blaring, all across the house. She was definitely cleaning.

"Hey girl!!!" I screamed as we ran into a hug.

She went to turn down the music, but I said:

"No don't turn it down. I like this! Who's singing this!!?"

She then yelled to me over the music:

"His name is Lil Xan!! I'm going to one of his concerts next month! Gotta make sure I know every line to every song!"

"What does he look like?" I yelled.

She pulled a pic up of him on her phone.

And in that exact moment my life had changed.

Holy

Macaroni.

That boy was the hottest thing I've laid eyes on.
And from this moment I know.

"Can I go with you?!" I yelled.

"Of course you can!!" Beth yelled.

"You better be Savin up some money tho!"

We laughed.
