Some times we check ourselves in the mirror
and we see a small man.
A man who hasn't accomplished any great task. And the more we go on the more the image of ourself shrinks.
Somedays when i check in the mirror i don't see anything at all.
But when i focus really hard and squint my eyes I can see a miniature man standing there staring back at me, barely visible. In those moments we see ourself and we try to convince ourself that it's ok.
We live and we die.
And not all man are destined for greatness, and that it is ok to be so so so small.
Because giants are just a thing of folklores. We're not the strongest nor the most intelligent.
And we lack in allot of aspects. We are just who we are, and that just happens to be a tiny man.
And we don't think it's a self-esteem problem.
We just accept that that's how it is and that we are just being honest with ourself. After all we're taught all the time that we are just a tiny spec dust in the universe.
So small and meaningless.
And i believe it is so.But even so...
If we preserve we can achieve a lot of things.Because if history has taught us anything, it is that most of the greatest things achieved by mankind so far was done by a man who at one point was just a small man.
So always remember: a small man can cast a very large shadow if given the chance.
We just have to find the right angle to place the candle so that the shadow that we cast may make us a giants.- by the lone dwarf holding a candle
