"What are we doing here, Luciano?" I asked, looking around at the greenery surrounding us.
Luciano when behind a bush.
"A run," Luciano replied.
"I don't understand-" I started to say but interrupted myself by letting out a yelp when I heard bones cracking.
Luciano came out from behind the bush in his wolf form, he and his clothing in his jaw as well. He kneeled down in front of me and nudged my leg.
"I don't know what you want from me," I whispered.
Luciano huffed, shaking his fur.
"Do you want me to sit on your back, or something?" I asked, remembering him saying that he wanted to go for a run.
Luciano nodded.
"Alright," I sighed, gingerly sitting on his back like a female does a horse while they're wearing a dress or skirt.
I leaned down before wrapping my arms around his neck loosely, but I kept my grip firm enough so I wouldn't fall off once he started moving.
Once Luciano knew I was secure, he started moving. He started at a slow walk and started going faster and faster till he was at a full on sprint, all the while making sure I didn't fall off.
Luciano continued to run for about twenty minutes, I think, before slowing down to a stop. He knelt down again and I got off of him, then he went behind another bush and started shifting back into his human form, I think.
Luciano came back out from behind the tree in his human form.
"Follow me," Luciano said softly, gently grabbing one of my hands and leading me deeper into the forest.
"Where are we going now?" I asked.
"You'll see." He replied, a small smile on his face.
We walked into a quiet clearing. There is a small river flowing through the clearing and a medium sized patch of wildflowers growing along the river.
"It's so pretty here," I whispered.
"I'm glad you think so." Luciano smiled. "Just wait till it starts getting dark out."
"What happens when it gets dark out?" I wondered.
"You'll see." He repeated.
Luciano sat on the ground, pulling me into his lap.
"So, I was thinking." Luciano started.
"I'm not so sure that's such a good thing," I hummed. "But what were you thinking about?"
"We could start building a small house here so that we could have a small getaway place for if we need to once we graduate." He mumbled. "It's peaceful and hard to find, so no one would be able to bother us. If you like this place, that it."
"I still want to know what happens once it gets dark." I pouted.
"You'll just have to wait about an hour for that," Luciano smirked. "But what do you think of my idea?"
"I think it's a good idea," I answered.
To spend time while waiting for it to get dark out, we were just sitting down, deciding on a few plans for the house we're going to build here and getting to know each other better- asking questions about random things and teasing each other.
"Wow." I gasped breathlessly as I started seeing different colored lightning bugs come out.
"So you like it?" Luciano asked, worry showing on his face and leaking in his voice.
"I love it." I breathed out.
"I'm glad." He smiled.
"We should try and catch some of them." I giggled, standing up and dusting my pants off.
"And why is that?" Luciano remarked, pulling me back down into his lap.
"Because we should," I replied, not knowing what else to say.
"Why?" he reiterated with a smirk on his face.
His face is so close to mine.
"Because it's fun," I mumbled, looking away from him
"Alright, then," Luciano chuckled softly, standing up with me in his arms.
"It's going to be kind of hard to catch the lightning bugs if I'm stuck in your arms," I remarked.
"Is that so?" he murmured, lightly running his nose along my neck.
