         She's back.

Why is she back? Why is she even here in the first place?

I let out a breath before leaving the safety of my home and locking the door.

"Let me take you to school today." my 'mother' said in an ordering tone.

"No," I responded blatantly, adjusting the strap of my bag.

"I'm not asking you, Rei, I'm telling you.." she huffed. "I don't want you to be alone with that, that idiotic-"

"That's enough!" I shouted. "I will not have you insult my boyfriend! And I don't think you understood what I meant yesterday, get off my property and don't come back. I want nothing to do with a woman who abandons her husband and child just because things got a little difficult! You left father to raise me all by himself while trying to support us, and you left me without a mother."

"I regret leaving you like that." she sighed.

"Oh, yeah, I'm sure you do." I retorted, rolling my eyes. "I'm sure it pains you to see how I've grown into a confident young woman without you. I'm sure it bothers you knowing that I didn't need you in my life."

"Rei, I made a mistake..." she muttered.

"Yes, you did." I huffed. "And when did you realize this? Just a few days ago or a few years ago?"

She didn't respond, she just stared at me.

"And when you realized this did you try to pick up the broken pieces? No, you didn't." I continued angrily. "You just come back because you need something from me."

Luciano's car pulled up in the driveway and parked before Luciano got out. He has a worried look on his face as he walks towards us.

"Is everything alright over here?" he asked, wrapping his arm around my waist.

"Everything's just fine." I gritted. "Let's just get to school. We don't want to be late now, do we?"

"Right..." he murmured.

"If I see you hanging around here when I get back from school, I will call the police immediately." I said to my 'mother' as Luciano and I passed her.

"Are you sure everything is alright?" Luciano wondered as he drove us to school.

"No..." I breathed out. "I'm not. I did some digging and apparently, someone set up a bank account for me to go to college or something and she's gone broke while living the high life and she wants the money that was set aside."

"I'm sorry about that." he murmured gently taking my left hand with his right one.

"It's fine." I smiled slightly, squeezing his hand as I moved my hair out of my face with my free hand. "You weren't the cause of this. You're actually really helping me, now that I think about it."

"How so?" Luciano asked.

"You're there for me, you're letting me rant to you, you're keeping me level-headed and you're getting me away from her," I replied. "Thank you for that."

"You're welcome I guess," he mumbled, looking kind of flustered. "I didn't realize that I was doing all of that and that I was helping you..."

I grinned, kissing his cheek as he parked in the school parking lot.

"That's what makes you so special, Luciano." I giggled. "You have the ability to help people without even realizing it."

"Well, I'm glad that you think I'm special." Luciano smiled softly.

The two girls in front of me keep on whispering and looking back at me.

I know that they're talking about me, it's so evident.

They're both wearing shorts that stop below their butts, one blue the other a light red. They're also both wearing short shirts that end just above their belly button the color of navy blue and black. It looks as though they're both wearing a lot of different kinds of makeup too. I think they might be twins.

"If you have something to say to me, you might as well just spit it out now." I sighed. "Or at least make it less obvious that you're talking about me."

"Oh." the one wearing the blue shorts and black shirt mumbled.

"Uhh," the other girl, the one wearing the red shorts and navy blue shirt, drawled out.

"Well?" I asked, raising an eyebrow at them.

"Umm, we- we were just surprised at how Luciano was able to get such an attractive girl to be his girlfriend." the one in the blue shorts shyly replied. "You're totally out of his league in looks.

"Eh?" I uttered, flustered from them calling me attractive. "Th-thanks, I think."

"What kind of foundation do you use," the one in the red shorts asked. "Your skin looks so smooth."

"Umm," I hummed. "It's- ah- it's actually- er- it's actually all natural... I don't wear makeup."

"Like, you don't wear any makeup?" she gasped. "At all? Really?"

"Yup. Really." I nodded. "I don't wear any makeup. Never really have nor have I ever really seen the need to do so."

"Wow." they both breathed out at the same time.
