The beach

Jamie POV

The next day I woke up refreshed and with an energetic start. I walked onto my balcony and saw Lucas had arrived by bicycle from somewhere. He was tying his bike and grabbing something out of the basket. It was wrapped in parchment paper. He also had a bottle of what looked like wine and a fresh bouquet of flowers. I smiled at the simplicity of his life. The sun peaked through the towns buildings and the ocean was fierce and calm at once. The salty breeze that blew was refreshing. I could just stop in this moment forever. I no longer worried for the people back home or in the states. All I wanted was this place to stay with me.

I went downstairs for breakfast when the smell of eggs and some sort of cheese came up from the floor below. I loved this treatment. No fans, no hustle, just nature and me in a villa in Greece with plenty of food. I sat down at the table and watched as Lucas served me a nice large breakfast. I was wondering if you would like to venture out today to the shore. I have a boat we can take out on the ocean and I have prepared lunch for us. We can explore some caverns not far from here. There is a nice secluded beach you can think on. I can leave you there and return for you if you like. Or I can take a walk so you have time to clear your thoughts. I would like that very much. And tonight? What will we do tonight?. I was thinking a night in for you may be too tired to go out tonight. My mother is home and we could go eat at her home next door. Okay, that sounds like a good day in my book. There is no cell phone reception out on the boat or at the beach but I will have the boat radio and a satellite phone to be safe. It sounds dangerous.. is it dangerous?. No, not at all but with you being new to these parts I wanted to make sure you knew I was being cautious. Your English is better than mine Lucas!. I studied at one of the only universities near here and I have practiced for many years. I love the English language. I dont but yeah I guess we all have our own thing we like. Mine is food! By the way this is soooo good!. Thank you again Jamie. I like that you are pleased with me. It makes me feel proud.

That morning after breakfast we set sail on the Grecian shore where Lucas had brought a basket of snacks and a small lunch. He brought the wine as well. I really miss my beer but alcohol is alcohol. I bathed 9in the sun and could see my shoulders getting burnt. Lucas saw me struggling with my sunblock and offered to put some on my back. I felt a strange vibe but allowed him to do so, not wanting to burn before my next photo shoot. He sat behind me on the deck and began rubbing the lotion between his hands to warm it and then started at the shoulders worked his way down. His hands were very smooth like a womans but the pressure was like a mans.

I almost felt like I was getting a massage and I loved it. I just sat there, kind of awkwardly, while Lucas lay into my back with his strong woman hands. Funny I know. When he was done I laid back and allowed him to do the front as well. I was a little buzzed to be honest. The wine and the sun had mixed and made me feel a tad lightheaded and I was in love with the feeling of being taken care of. Lucas swept his sandy brown air away from his face as he looked down at me. I had my dark sunglasses on and I doubt he could see my eyes were open staring at his kind face. He bit his bottom lip a little as he worked the lotion deeper into my abdomen. Lucas, thank you. I appreciate the massage, I chuckled.

No problem sir. I mean Jamie. I am here to help. We are almost to the island beach I wanted to show you. It is pretty secluded and you will like it there. The sea turtles swim by the shore and you can even see dolphins. I am looking forward to it.

When we arrived at the beach, I helped Lucas anchor the boat and we walked onto the beach with the basket and some other items. This is absolutely beautiful. I stared out onto the beachfront and then turned around towards the ocean and could see the amazing view. I fell onto the sand and stuck a blanket of some sort behind my head. Lucas sat beside me in close proximity. Jamie, I can leave you here if you would like to think as you said. No Lucas, dont go. I could use the company. Okay would you like a drink?. He takes out a bottle of scotch, I think and hands me a glass. I raise the glass and say cheers before bodying the first glass completely. Oh, how I missed hard liquor.

So, tell me about yourself, Lucas. Who are you and what do you dream about?. We had had several drinks by now and the sun was setting soon. The entire day was very quiet and I was getting tired of the silence. I wanted to know more about this boy who reminded me of my Dakota. I miss her. Well, I am 20 years old. I want to travel mostly. I do this type of job a lot and love it. I dont get famous celebrities like you a lot but I like it none the less. I have a large family. My father is a professor and my mama was a nanny and now is a stay at home wife. I am the baby boy but have two younger sisters. My older siblings all moved away. There are 4 more 2 boys and 2 girls. I dream of a better life for us. I love it here but my parents work hard. I want to be able to buy them a nicer home and not have to rent our place to strangers. I love this though. The adventure of meeting new people. Getting to be a part of their journey. It makes me feel fulfilled. I am pretty shy and not really very social. I have very few friends. I am a mommas boy. My mom is wise beyond her years and knows me well. She was the one who told me who I was before I even knew it. She gives advice to many in the community. I would love for you to meet her. Lastly, I would like to be your friend. I sat there as I dissected every piece of his conversation. It was almost forced out of him. He was very shy. His words would drift off as if he thought they were wrong to say. Do you have a girlfriend?. I asked that for what reason I dont know but I did. No, I do not have a girlfriend. I never really have had a relationship. Oh, why is that you look like a great guy and very handsome. I am not very social and I have a very confusing view on sexuality. Oh, what is that?. I dont think we should discuss this because it will only bring strain on our friendship. I wont like you any less for your sexuality boy, I am quite liberal. I am Pansexual and I have not found someone I want to lose my virginity to. Oh, so you are holding out for true love?. Yes and no. I want to be truly attracted to the person I want to have sex with. Well, thats a good thing. I mean way too many people have sex on a whim! Good for you.

We packed up and left for the boat. Storm clouds had rolled in and we needed to get back to the mainland. I was glad when we made it to the boat only to be disappointed we couldnt leave because it had started to storm really badly. We had to stay the night in the boat. It had sleeping quarters and we had some food left over. I was happy. I drank more scotch. There was another bottle onboard. I was quite drunk at this point. I just laid out on the bed and watched as poor Lucas walked around the cabin worried. He had phone his mum and let her know we werent going to make it to dinner. The phone had cut off and we had no signal. The radio still worked in case of an emergency but he looked almost scared. What is wrong Lucas?. I. I . I dont like storms Jamie!, he said almost tearing up. No, he was tearing up. Like on the verge of crying. I had a bad experience in a storm. I dont want to get you or I hurt. I shouldnt have brought you out here so late. It is okay Lucas just come by me and we can have a few drinks and relax. I wont let anything happen to you!. Are you sure?. Yes, now come over here. I am cold anyway!. He ran over to me and I laughed when he was all too eager to cuddle up with me. I almost liked itwhat!?!?!? Why was I thinking about another man, better yet a boy in my book? I am pretty fucked up in the head and I am drunk and he reminds me of Dakota with his blue eyes and sandy brown hair. His tan is what made him different. Dakota never tans that dark. He had an aura about him. The young vibrancy and the innocence of a youngster with the wisdom of an old soul just like my Dakota.

I held him in my arms and slipped my fingers into his hair. Running them through his soft locks and drifting off into sleep.
