Boi I'm working on a Stenbrough story so the first couple of chapters of that will be published soon,,,

--Richie's POV--

I woke up fairly early the next morning. I had to go to church with Stanny and Bill today. Ever since the whole situation over the summer, Stan got pretty gosh darned spooked.

I knew he asked me to go to church because he knows I need myself some preachin'. And, he invited Bill because Stan is gay.

Don't ask me why he thought it was a good idea to invite his gay crush to go to church with him.

I stood up, untangling my and Eddie's bodies. He starts to shiver, so I take a blanket and lay it over him.

He smiles, so I head out. I stop in the living room to bask in the glory of Eddie's mom.

Fuck you, Miss Kaspbrak !!¡

I run outside, hoping I won't be late to church again. Everyone seems so disappointed whenever I waltz in there while they sing the first gibberish song or prayer.

I got to the church early today. So early that it was only Stan in the room, looking through some ancient book.

He looked up at the sound of my steps, but when he saw it was me he rolled his eyes. "It's been weeks since you haven't been late. I'm kind of proud." He scoffed, looking back down at the book and flipping the page.

"I kissed Eddie." I smiled. I needed an icebreaker, and I couldn't think of anything except me kissing Eddie.

He kicked the table the book sat on. "I owe Bill ten bucks." He crossed his arms.

"You're not surprised?" I asked him, walking up next to him.

"Nah, Bill and I both knew this was bound to happen. I just thought I'd get my first kiss before you did." He mumbled that last part.

"So you're saying that if you were to kiss Bill, he'd have had to kiss you and give you ten dollars. That's a lose-lose for him." I chuckled, elbowing his side playfully.

He pushed his fingers through his hair, his face turning red. "Shut up Richie! Why would I ever kiss Bill in the first place??¿"

"Maybe because you're hopelessly in love with him." I smiled condescendingly. "Oh yes, Richie knows all."

He squints at me. "You're just trying to rub some of your gay off on me."

I grab his shoulders. "Stanley Uris. I'm pretty sure you rubbed your gay off on me."

"I'll admit, that's worded very wrong." He nodded.

"Stan, guess what? Stan? Stan? Stanley? Guess what? Guess what?" I loudly said while shaking him.

"What?" He yelled back.

"~Stan and Bill, sitting in a tree, homosexuality~"

Stan pushed me, only half-jokingly. "Please don't tell him. I almost told him last night when we were working on our project, but then I totally chickened out. I don't think he even likes boys."

He looked towards the door and screeched.

I looked behind me, and there Bill was, standing in the doorway, with wide eyes and no words.

I stood in the middle of the two of the boys, who looked like they were having a staring contest.

"What do you guys say to ice cream after this church thingy?" I ask. They both look at me for a second before looking back at each other. "Okay, fine. I'll just go with Eddie later." I shrugged.

It's times like these where I really wish Eddie were here, because everything I do in awkward situations just makes it worse.

Jewish people started sitting in the seats, so I sat in one of the seats. Stan and Bill still stood in the middle aisle about 8 feet apart, staring into each other's souls.

How does one deal with this situation?

That took a long time. I have no reason except for the fact that I'm lazy. The entire time I wrote this chapter I kept thinking of something along the lines of "not in my good Jewish suburbs". Yeperoo
