--Eddies POV--

After Mike finished his fries, it's been about half an hour. I figured it'd been about an hour since I'd left home. I couldn't check the time before I left. I was sort of in a rush.

Richie's temple experience must be over. "Should we start walking to the temple? I mean, we'll probably be a little late but at least we won't get there while the service is still happening.." I ramble on, causing Bev to scoot out of our booth and stand up.

"Yeah, fine. Lets hit the road." Beverly smiles before grasping onto both my sleeve and Mike's, pulling us up and out of the booth.

Mike laughs. "Both of my legs have fallen asleep."

"Well, wake them up." Bev said in a sarcastic kind of tone.

"Wake 'em up, before you go-go." Mike smiled at Bev and I, starting to snap.

"We better go." I fake-whisper to Beverly.

"Truth hurts, Mike." Beverly says, leading us out the door.

--Richie's POV--

We spent the rest of the time around the church. Bill and Stan tried to act like they hadn't had that awkward moment inside, but neither of them were great at that.

Maybe Eds and I could play matchmaker with them later, but right now I was simply longing for my Eds.

I've never missed his chocolate brown eyes and his freckled face more than right now, but I'd be a terrible friend if I left Stan and Billy alone together in this situation.

It felt like forever, but after a while I saw Mike, Bev, and Eddie turn a corner into the street we sat on.

It was totally lame, but I immediately stood up and hugged Eds the first chance I could.

He hugged back tightly for a second, then backed up so our eyes could meet. "What was that for?" He smiled.

"I missed you." I smiled back at him.

This one's mine.

I leaned in until I close to his ear. "Also Bill heard Stan say he had a thing for him and now it's super awkward and I'm just very glad that you're here."

Eds let out a giggle. "Oh, shit." He joked before grabbing my hand. "I guess we should interfere a lot and get this situated."

Bev raised an eyebrow. "That's not how people usually solve problems like this. They usually leave the two having the conflict alone until they fix it themsel-"

"No." Eddie interrupted.

We looked over at Bill and Stan, who were obviously listening.

Stan crossed his arms. "You guys are the worlds shittiest friends."

"But not me, right?" Mike said from behind us."

"No, not you Mike. You're great." Concluded Stan. Everyone else nodded. That's understandable.

"Hm. Maybe we should leave them alone." Eds started.

"Thank y-" Stan said, before getting cut off by the end of Eddie's thought.

"Ben is the friend that knows stuff about love. We should wait for him."

Everyone other than Bill and Stan replied in a mix of okays and oh yeahs.

"Well, I've gotta take Eds to the arcade. I sort of messed up his Mrs. Pacman game yesterday." I squeezed Eddie's hand and started walking down the street.

He smiled widely the whole walk there.
