G U I D E L I N E S
1. Shortlisted contestants please follow the two primary judges (the chosen ones). It is mandatory. You can follow the secondary ones if you want.
2. Multiple judges will be reading your books:
a. Both the Chosen Ones (Primary Judges) will be reading all your books. They might vote/comment as per their choice.
b. You will not know which hidden judge(s) will be reading your book. They'll be the silent jurors and will have no contact with you in terms of votes/comments/messages etc. This is done in order to prevent bias towards or against a contestant.
3. Please check out the book, 'The Chosen Ones: Know Your Judges.' It contains information about each judge, what they look for in a book and any words of advise they might give you. (external link)
4. Based on the overall average rating, the books with the highest score will be awarded the First, Second and Third Prize. For details, please look at the 'JUDGING GUIDELINES' and 'PRIZES' section.
5. The final results will be announced on 30th November 2017.
6. Specialty awards doesn't have a shortlist and the first two prizes will be announced on 31st October along with the genre awards.
