[MANDATORY]
The shortlisted candidates have to read the first chapter of the previous month's winner's book and leave a 2+ line meaningful comment with the tag @TLAwards. We'll be checking.
If failed to comply, you won't be eligible for the first prize.
Don't worry, this is a win-win situation, for, if you end up winning the first prize this month, you'll be receiving at least 10 comment + reads + possible votes on your book too.
The authors who have completed the task will receive a tick (✔) against their name.

1. Multiple judges (maybe, even all of them) will be reading your books. You will not know which judge(s) will read your book. This is done in order to prevent bias towards or against a contestant. You can find out more about the judges in the book 'Chosen Ones: Know Your Judges' which will be updated soon.
2. Based on the overall average rating, the books with the highest score will be awarded the First, Second and Third Prize. For details, please look at the 'JUDGING GUIDELINES' and 'PRIZES' section.
3. The final results will be announced on 31st May.
4. Specialty awards don't have a shortlist. The first two prizes will be announced along with the genre awards.
There will be a new genre award and a new specialty award the next month. Stay tuned for the updates!
Don't forget to check the next chapter and submit your vote for the genre and specialty awards for June 2018.
