A/N: Jed's POV
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I slowly closed my eyes, not bothering if the Eighth would see me daydreaming.
As I opened them, I found myself standing on a circular platform in the Cause and Holy Effect Hall.
I turned to face Murumuru standing on a sphere, levitating on the center of the room.
"Ah, well if it isn't the Fourth. What brings you here this time?" Murumuru giggled as she flopped herself in front of me.
"Murumuru, can I ask you a question?" I stated.
"I believe you just have." Murumuru laughed.
I rolled my eyes. "You're beginning to act like Eighth, you know." I sighed.
"You know Eighth already huh? You're lucky. Setting that aside, what would your question be?" Murumuru scoffed.
"Okay, I shall start asking. Where are Yukiteru and Yuno? I have an urgent matter to discuss with them!" My voice thundered inside the hall.
Murumuru covered her ears. "Fourth, don't scream like an old hag! I'm not deaf. Geez, you're quite mawkish."
"I don't care whether you're deaf or not! Just tell me where Yukiteru and Yuno's whereabouts are!" I've had enough. My patience is running low.
"As much as I would like to get them for you, I'm afraid that they're a little 'busy' at the moment. But if you wanna talk to somebody, talk to me instead." Murumuru smiled.
"Uhhh, no thank you. I'll just wait for Yukiteru and Yuno. No offense, Murumuru." I nervously laughed as I averted my gaze off her.
"Listen up, Fourth. Just because I seem like an idiot to most people doesn't mean I can't help you out. Besides, I'm the only help you've got right now. Yuno and Yukiteru are out." Murumuru scolded me.
"Man, you're small but terrible." I shrugged.
Murumuru glared at me with pernicious eyes. I fidgeted under her gaze.
"Now, where was I? Oh yeah. You're here to talk about The Eighth and his diary, right?" Murumuru asked.
"Yeah, you're correct. How did you know?" I asked, slightly tilting my head to the side with a dumbfounded look plastered on my face.
"It's simple.." Murumuru snapped her fingers as a large screen appeared right behind her.
"Yukiteru, Yuno, and I can watch you and the other Future Diary Holders to see how the progression of the game goes. And by the looks of things, you might encounter another Future Diary Holder."
She laughed.
"I'm going to encounter another Future Diary holder in JUST one day? Man, How lucky can I be?" I sarcastically maundered to myself. But deep inside, I was rejoicing.
"Hmm, maybe. But then again, maybe not." Murumuru shrugged.
"I wonder... Who could this Future Diary Holder be? Is it the Twelfth? The Eleventh? The Thirteenth? Man, I'm pretty much excited to meet him/her." I mentally jumped up and down.
"Don't get so cocky, Fourth. He/She might suddenly kill you or destroy your diary once they get the chance." Murumuru warned me, eyeing me cautiously.
"Okay, I won't. I almost forgot. You didn't answer my question about-" I snapped back to reality when the Eighth slapped my forehead.
"Hey man, why'd you slap me? Damn, that hurt." I rubbed my forehead in a vertical motion.
"Duh. You were spacing out. To be specific, you were spacing out while drooling." He stated, pointing to the side of my mouth.
"H-huh? I didn't notice I was drooling. Say, got any handkerchief with you? I haven't brought mine." I flashed an embarrassed smile.
"Of course. Here you go." He said as he handed me his handkerchief.
I wiped the drool. As I finished wiping the drool, I handed him back his handkerchief.
He stared at it with a disgusting look on his face.
I shrugged. "You can wash that, you know."
"Yucky." He responded and shuddered as he put his handkerchief back into his pocket.
"Shut up, Eighth." I shot him a glare.
"Alright, alright." He rolled his eyes as we started walking out of the park.
We were talking about random things like our favorite foods, likes, dislikes and a whole lot more.
"....I told you, I don't have a girlfriend! Cassy's just my-" I stopped dead in my tracks.
"Huh? Fourth, What's wrong?" The Eighth stared at me.
"Um, Eighth. Will you kindly look in front?" I extended my arm as I pointed towards a man.
The Eighth shifted his gaze to the man. His eyes widened in shock. He stood beside me, motionless as if he was frozen.
"Eighth? Is something wrong? Do you know that man?" I inquisitively asked him, with an eyebrow arched.
"Fourth.... that's no ordinary man. It's.... it's the First." He deadpanned.
I gasped as my eyes widened. No way, I was going to encounter the First?!
