The dagger almost pierced his chest, not until the Second interfered the blow with a punch to the gut. Jed flew backwards, hitting the wall.
Jed clutched his stomach and looked to see who delivered the punch. And to his surprise, it was the Second.
The Second waved at him. "Yo, Fourth."
"S-Second... no, more like Cassy." Jed muttered to himself.
The Second glared at Jed, eyes stone cold.
"What the fudge has gotten into you, Fourth?" She asked him.
"I....I don't know what's gotten into me..." Jed trailed off, not meeting Cassy's gaze.
Cassy walked to Jed and sat beside him.
"Look at me, Jed." She stated sternly.
"I can't look at you!" Jed retorted.
"Just look at me, damn it!" Cassy exclaimed.
Jed quickly turned his head to face Cassy.
"Now, that's better." Cassy's eyes softened a bit.
Jed took a deep breath.
"Tell me...." Cassy started.
"Tell you what?" Jed interfered her.
Cassy rolled her eyes. "Just let me continue, dumb ass."
Jed signaled her to continue by shutting his mouth. Cassidy giggled.
"Okay, where was I?" Cassidy tilted her head.
Jed facepalmed. "You're suffering from short term memory loss, Second."
Second felt a slight tinge of pink across her cheeks. Tsundere mode activated.
"No, I'm not!" She shouted at Jed's face.
Jed chuckled at the girl in front of him.
"W-what's so funny huh?!"
