A/N: Katie's POV
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Man, I'm beat!" I exclaimed as I flopped down on the couch while flipping through channels. That Jed kid has gotten quite stronger since we last met.
"Ugh, flipping through channels is boring. B-O-R-I-N-G." I muttered to myself as I turned the TV off and went towards the kitchen to eat some snacks.
I'm so hungry I could devour a fridge. Hey, don't blame me. A lady like me needs a healthy lifestyle.
I spotted Carmina at the dinner table, reading a magazine. She loves reading, mind you. Heck, she could even memorize the World Map without stealing a glance from it.
I approached her. "Sup, Eleventh?" I pulled a chair and sat in it.
"The usual." She stated casually as she sipped her coffee. Her eyes were seemingly focused on the sentences, paragraphs, and so on.
I drummed my fingers on the table, staring at nothing in particular. Carmina seemed bothered by the drumming as she shot me a glare behind her gleaming spectacles.
And yes, she wears glasses.
I shrugged. Carmina sighed and continued reading the magazine in her hands.
"Boredom strikes." I muttered under my breath.
I stood up from my seat and began raiding the fridge.
As Carmina shifted her eyes from the magazine to check me on what I'm up to, her eyes widened in shock.
She almost choked on her biscuit upon seeing me pigging out in front of her.
"T-Thirteenth! What the heck?!" She shouted out at me.
"What? I'm hungry and besides, I haven't eaten breakfast yet." I whined while munching an apple in my hand. Oh so yummy.
"Well, it's kinda unusual to see you pigging out." Carmina stated in a a-matter-of-fact tone.
I pouted. She giggled.
"Mou, y u so-" I was cut off in mid-sentence when I heard someone knocking on the door.
"I'll get it." I boringly stated as I headed towards the lounge. Unfortunately, while I was rushing towards the door, I tripped and made a loud 'thud' on the ground, faceflat.
Carmina seemed worried of what had happened. "Thirteenth! Are you okay?" She shouted.
"Ugh, yes. I'm okay, don't worry about it." I stood up while dusting off my pants.
I rushed towards the door and turned the doorknob open. And to my surprise, I saw Fourteenth standing there. I stood there, unable to move. I felt my heart skip a beat. What is the Fourteenth doing here?!
"Hey." He greeted me as he ran a finger through his black spiky hair. Man, was he hot.
"Um, h-hey there." I averted my gaze, trying to hide my blush. He tilted his head to one side. I was secretly glancing at him with the corner of my eye.
"Katie, is something wrong? Are you sick?" He inquired as he stretched out his arm to place his hand on my forehead. Before he even did so, I slapped his hand away.
"Katie?" He arched an eyebrow.
"I'm not sick!" I retorted.
"Then why-" I cut him off.
"Just come inside." I turned away, thus, my back facing him. I sighed and clutched my chest.
"Okay." He followed me inside and shut the door behind him.
Carmina poked her head from the dining room. "Hey Katie, Just wanna say that lunch's ready."
I brightened up at her words. "Oh goodie! I'm starving right now!" I happily stated as my stomach started growling.
"Where's the monster?!" Fourteenth teased.
I shot him a death glare.
"Shut up."
He raised his hands in defeat. "Okay, okay. Chill." He chuckled as he happily walked towards the kitchen.
"Hey! Where do you think you're going, huh mister?" I asked him.
"I'm going to eat. What else do you think I'm going to do?" He bluntly stated.
"Mou, you're so mean." I pouted my cutest pout.
He chuckled slightly. "Man, you sure are cute."
"B-baka!" I was blushing like hell. Man, I go tsun tsun whenever I'm in front of him. Duh, I have a crush on him. Mehhhh.
I walked off to the kitchen. And man to my surprise, the table's covered with scrumptious dishes that made my tummy do somersaults.
I was about to glomp the oh-so-delicious dishes on the table but I managed to hold myself back. Dude, don't expect me to pig out in front of Nue. That'll be disgusting, dude. D-I-S-G-U-S-T-I-N-G.
I silently sat on my chair and muttered a prayer. Carmina did the same thing, so as Nue. Then, we started eating the 'buffet' set on the table.
"Man, Eleventh! This is quite delicious!" I exclaimed while eating.
She giggled as she took a sip of her tea. "Thank you, Thirteenth." She flashed a smile.
"I have to agree with Thirteenth." Nue complimented.
"Aww, you really like my cooking, don't you?" She cooed.
"We do not like it. We LOVE IT." I happily quipped as I continued eating.
Nue silently nodded. I glanced at him with an eyebrow arched.
He noticed me staring at him.
"Something wrong, Katie?" He inquired, with a suspicious look plastered on his face.
"You seem quiet. Something bothering you?"
"Nah." He bluntly replied.
"Are you sure?" I worriedly asked him.
He grunted in reply. I guess that means YES.
I sweatdropped comically. Man, this guy can be unpredictable at times.
I sighed as the three of us attended to our eating sessions.
