"Y/N, come on. Ya need to wake up." Jimin shook me, at first gently, and then a little rougher. "You've got school." I groaned. As if that would get me up. "Come on, I'll get murdered if you miss another day of school." I rolled over onto my back and opened one eye.
"And that affects me how?" He grinned, and I couldn't help but smile too. His smile was contagious, it lit up my world. He patted my leg and stood up.
"You've got 10 minutes." He called behind him as he shut my door. I sat up quickly.
"Shit." I quickly threw my jeans and blouse on, leaving the top two buttons undone. I quickly brushed my teeth and used the toilet before grabbing my bag and slipping on my shoes. I ran into the kitchen where Jimin was drinking coffee, pecked him on the cheek and ran out the door. I heard him giggle and scowled.
I brushed my hair with my fingers while half running, half walking to school. I lived about fifteen minutes away, if I walked. I hoped my curt, brown hair wouldn't look too bad since I didn't have time to look in the mirror to see. I pulled out my phone.
8:20
I relaxed a little bit and slowed my pace. I still had ten minutes before school started, and it would only take me five, now. I rung up Maya, asking if she was coming in today.
"Yeah, see you in a few?" I nodded, but mentally face-palmed when I remembered she couldn't see me. "Y/N?"
"Yep yeah, sure. Bye!" She sighed and hung up.

Once I saw Maya waiting for me by the steps leading into the Music Block, I jogged lightly, ignoring the perverted cat-callers. I beamed at her as we wandered in, getting in early enough to be able to choose our tables.
There were many rooms to the music department, including a dance studio and a sound-proof studio for composers. There was a drum and guitar room, a piano room (and keyboard), and a harp and brass instruments room. There was also two classrooms. I took one of the many seats by the window. Since we had to sit Boy-Girl, Maya sat in front of me. I wasn't interested in finding out who I would have to sit by this year. Last year in English, I sat next to some fool who had a crush on me, and wouldn't leave me alone. Maya had sat on the other side of the classroom, next to her crush, and god was I jealous. He's now her boyfriend, and I'm still stuck being a fridge*.
[*Fridge - someone who hasn't had a boyfriend/girlfriend]
I didn't even have crushes anymore. Almost all the guys in my year were ugly, stupid or annoying. There were of course, some exceptions. Maya's boyfriend is nice, they get along really well. Not my type though.
More pupils filed into the class until the majority of the desks were taken. There was lots of chatter, but luckily for me no one had sat by me yet. I don't know whether or not to feel offended or happy. Hm.
Maya ended up sitting next to Kim Namjoon, one of the school's biggest hotties. There was a few of them, I guess. But I didn't like any of them, they were all the typical playboy, dickhead, popular boys that just wanted to get in your pants. She kept giving him the googley eyes and had to stop herself from drooling. She was faithful to Daesuk, don't get me wrong. But who wouldn't fangirl over him and his group, despite their disgusting ways?
"Kookie! Jungkookie!" My thoughts were interrupted by a high-pitched girl squealing annoyingly loud. I looked back to see the owner of the voice waving her arm madly in the air as she practically cried tears of joy. I followed her gaze to see another one of the school's biggest hotties entering the class. The look of pure horror on his face was something I wish I could've framed on my wall, it was so funny. He started glancing around the room quickly, trying to find somewhere else to sit, when his gaze landed on the empty seat next to mine. He met my eyes, and I gave him a cold, hard look trying to put him off of sitting there.
And I knew he definitely reconsidered it, but when he saw Namjoon would be in front of him and looked at the chick at the back of the class desperately calling his name, he was at my side faster than light. He went to pull out the chair, avoiding my glare, but I put my foot behind the leg, and leaned back against the wall like it was the most casual situation in the world.
"Sorry, seat's taken."
"Jungkook, what are you doing? I'm over here silly!" I smirked as I looked at the girl again, and watched as he gave me a pleading look. I could only see his eyes since he had a white mask on, but I knew what his face looked like well enough anyways. I shook my head again as he clenched his jaw.
"Seat's. Taken." He suddenly returned my glare and yanked the chair over my foot, causing me to yelp.
"Yeah, by me." I growled as he sat down and pulled off his bag. I knew it was no use trying to get him to move, so I leaned on my palm and sighed. I didn't have to look back to know the girl was upset over Jungkook choosing to sit by me over her.
"Girlfriend?" I chuckled as he frowned.
"Yeah, obviously." He retorted sarcastically.
"I don't know, Kookie. She seems pretty into you." He rolled his eyes as he sunk back into his chair, arms crossed over his broad chest. He spread his legs, one further forward than the other, and took up some of my half of the table too. I used the tips of my fingers to move his leg away. "Uhm, personal space." He looked at me, and without breaking eye contact, spread his legs even further out than before. It didn't look particularly comfortable. I roughly kicked his leg and he brought them together instantly. "Do it again, I dare you." He gritted his teeth as he stuck to his side of the table.
As we both looked forward, we noticed Namjoon and Maya looking at us in a way I couldn't describe. They turned around quickly, clearly muffling their laughter. I rolled my eyes.
Ugh, of all people, I had to sit by Jeon Jungkook? This is gonna be a long year.

"Now. I realise it's only the beginning of the year - first lesson back, actually - but I'm going to assign a project. You will have until the Christmas holidays to complete this, as it is a very big project. You will have to partner up with someone-" As our teacher said this, you could see everyone in the room snap their heads to who they'd want to be partners with, but disappointment flooded our faces as she finished her sentence. "-who is majoring in dance." Everyone groaned. I bit my lip.
Jimin was majoring in dance, but would he want to partner with me for this? I knew he cared for me, and was awfully kind, but I didn't want to force him into it. Maybe there was someone else.
As the teacher rambled on about our assignment, and what we would have to do, I felt a pair of eyes on me. I turned to my left.
"What." I spat at him. Jungkook shrugged, smirking cockily. He turned to the teacher without saying a word. "Dickhead." I mumbled. I rested my chin on my palm, zoning in and out.
Once she finished talking, she told us to start collecting some ideas. We would be starting to compose next lesson, and have a chance to pick our partners. I wrote down everything I needed to know about the assignment in my notebook, and pushed it to one side as I pulled out another notebook. It was laid out as a sheet of music, but was blank of notes. I started writing some ideas.
I noticed Jungkook had also pulled out his notebook, and was quickly scribbling down something. He kept glancing at my notebook, which I'd pushed to one side. I shut it.
"Oi! I was copying that." He protsted, giving me his best puppy-eyes. I shrugged.
"Should've been listening." I tucked it in my bag and went back to my sheet.
