I sighed as I dropped into my seat and buried my face into my arms. I shut my eyes and blocked out everything and everyone around me. I heard Maya pull back her seat and sit, and soon after Namjoon and Jungkook joined us. Still, I didn't raise my head.

I was still on bad terms with Maya, and wasn't about to forgive her anytime soon, but she had taken me to Laser Zone as part of her apology and we did have a blast. I missed her, but she needed to know she was a bitch.

I groaned as the devil flicked my ear. "What's up with you? Time of the mon-" I elbowed his forearm before he could finish, already knowing his 'hilarious joke'. He pouted but turned back to Namjoon, chatting away about who's girl had the best ass and boobs. Perverts. They suddenly dropped to a whisper, and I looked up to see Namjoon whispering something into Jungkook's ear. I raised an eyebrow and stared at them sharply.

Judging by how Jungkook later glanced down at my chest a couple of times and gave his perverted friend a thumbs up, I presumed they'd said something about me.

Our Music teacher came rushing in about five minutes late, repeatedly apologising to us about it. Her son had thrown his food up everywhere, including over her, and she had to change her clothes and clean up. Apparently she hadn't thought to shower however, and none of us felt inclined to point out the small dollop of sick residing in her frizzy hair. There were dark purple bags under her eyes, big enough to hold my weekly shop of food in.

She looked a little demented, I'll admit.

"Okay okay, settle down. Now then, I hope you've picked your partner from the wide range of dancers we have here and are already starting to compose your piece for them to dance to." I was relieved to see that many students were exchanging worried looks with each other, signifying they too hadn't found a partner. I still had options. "So today, I'll give you the lesson to continue composing. I'm excited to see the results!" She beamed happily at us, despite her clearly fatigued state, and sat down at her desk. She moved her round glasses up the bridge of her nose and rested on her palm.

The room erupted into chatter once more, however they were surprisingly enough doing a little work every now and then. Miss Kim was very nice, and quite a chill teacher compared to some of the others. Whatever she was doing on the computer clearly didn't require a quiet room.

"So." Jungkook nudged me. I stared at him.

"Yes?"

"Who's ye partner, lassy?" He spoke with an awful Scottish accent, and I had to swallow my laughter as I struggled to stay composed.

"Haven't got one yet. Have you finally picked a bird?" He scoffed and leant back in his chair. He shook his head.

"Nah. Everyone that has asked me is too busy being obsessed with my good looks and giant D to do any proper work. But some of them might be good to .. de-stress." I looked at him with disgust and closed my legs a little more. I slumped into the wall, biting my lip. Namjoon and Maya turned around and started talking to us.

Maya was quieter than normal, unsure whether or not I'd forgiven her or not. I scowled at her.

"You're not forgiven, but you're still my friend." She grinned happily at me and glanced at Namjoon. She had a lustful look in her eyes, and just like every other day, her drool was nearly tumbling out over her lip. I clicked my fingers in front of her face to snap her back, and she blushed a little, giggling.

The guys gave us a weird look, and I couldn't help but smile. I let Maya draw on my hand for a bit while I zoned out.

"Eh. You got a partner, Joon?" Jungkook's voice was deep and masculine, and helped soothingly send me off into a daydream.

I was sitting in my very own music studio, with a dance studio connected. There, a faceless angel danced to the sound of something playing on the stereo. Something I'd made perhaps. I was in awe of them, filming them on my phone. It didn't seem like they were dancing to the music, no - it seemed like the music was playing to their dancing.

They spun and jumped, crossing their arms over their chest. Then they erupted and carried on dancing, every movement in time with the music. It was like they'd been made for this. I wondered where I'd seen this dance before, where I'd heard the music.

I snapped back to reality as I realised who I needed as my partner. The music playing was Beethoven's Symphony No. 8, in F Major. I used to hear my grandfather playing it all the time whenever we went to his house, and grew to admire the piece composed by a deaf genius. I think that's what aspired me to become a composer, to pursue a musical career. I was grateful my grandfather was Beethoven's biggest fanboy.

His face appeared in my mind as I realised he was the only other boy I knew, besides my loving brother, who could pull off stunts like that, and dance like an angel. His dashing good looks and spicy moves took my breath away when I first saw him dance - seven months ago. He was in a competition, and he won first place. With a routine like that, I wasn't surprised.

Would he be my partner though? I really admired him, and I didn't want him to think I was another girl who wanted to get into his pants. He had too many of those. Could I compose something good enough for him to dance to? I'd have to try my best, give it my all. I really needed to pass this year, and having him as my partner would really boost my score.

I bit my lip as I told Maya to stop drawing. She looked a little rejected at that, but she agreed and took out a half-filled sheet of music - her music. I got up and walked to my teacher's desk, asking permission to go to the bathroom.

I needed to find him quickly, before another student took him as their partner. I ran across the hallway to the dance studio, and found him sitting on the side, observing a fellow classmate. He wasn't nearly as skilled as my target was, and was messing up the choreo he'd devised. But the angel helped him with every wrong step, every clumsy fall. He really was pure at heart. The rest of the class were in groups it seemed, and were trying to figure out a pattern to follow. I spied Jimin in the corner and smiled.

I ran up to the door and nearly opened it before realising I'd need an excuse to take him out of his lesson. Ooh!

I knocked timidly on the door, and once everyone had stopped what they were doing to look at me, I slipped inside and spoke quietly to the teacher.

"Uhm, excuse me. The Head of Year would like to see Hoseok, please.." I fumbled with my hands, feeling really awkward. It only then occured to me that Hoseok might find me a bit weird to have lied to get him out of class, just to ask him to be my partner. I could've waited. I should've waited. Oh god, what have I done?! The teacher nodded and motioned to Hoseok to leave. Once the door was shut I called him back.

"Hey! Uhm.. Hoseok.." I looked at the floor, scratching my arm.

I've messed this up so badly. He smiled at me with that angelic smile of his though and waited patiently for me to continue.

"I uh.. I was just kinda wondering." I swallowed. "Have you got a partner for the Music-Dance project thingy?" I looked up and met his soft gaze, trying not to melt under it. He shook his head and cocked it to the side, as if he knew what I was going to ask next. I didn't normally freeze up like this, but I'd idolised Hoseok for a while, and I'd never actually properly spoken to him.

"Do you need a partner by any chance?" His voice was smooth and gentle, and I smiled happily. I nodded. "Then a partner you shall have!" He bowed at the waist and was about to leave to go to the Head of Year's office, when I grabbed his arm quickly and pulled him back.

"Ah yeah, about that..." I let go of his arm and fumbled with my hands again. "I kinda made that up so I could get you out class.. Sorry!" It was my turn to bow, and I felt myself to really red. Dammit.

"Oh." He chuckled lightly. "No worries." He smiled and patted my shoulder before returning to class, and I was left alone in the deserted hallway. That went well?
