Relief flooded over me as the school bell rung, signifying it was time to go home. I quickly stuffed my books and pencil case into my bag and slung it over my shoulder, not bothering with the second strap. I rushed out of the door of my English class and headed out of the front gates. I heard the voices of the popular dickheads in our year - aka Jeon Jungkook and his gang. They walked as a huddle, stepping on the back of each other's shoes and pushing each other around.

I glanced behind me to see they were all there: Jeon Jungkook, Kim Taehyung, my brother, Kim Namjoon, Jung Hoseok, Min Yoongi and Kim Seokjin. Only Taehyung and Jimin were the same age, and Namjoon and Hoseok. So they were all spread out throughout the year groups, but they were closer than family. Yoongi and Jin didn't actually attend our school anymore, but they still hung around in their freetime. I often forgot that my brother was friends with all of these dickheads, but him and Hoseok were the decent ones of the lot.

Taehyung was weird, but also really hot and sexy. Namjoon was like their leader, but treated them all equally. From what I'd seen, he was really clumsy but he was also super hot. They were all suuuper hot, despite being dickheads. Seokjin - or as most called him, Jin - was the eldest, and was a really good cook from what I'd heard. He'd treat a woman well, but he wouldn't stick around. He couldn't really keep a relationship, but he tried. He was also really sexy.

Yoongi was cold and lazy, and didn't really care about much. But that seemed to pull the ladies in. He didn't really have girlfriends, only sex buddies. Even they didn't last long. He moved on quickly and effortlessly. Hoseok was the living embodiment of an angel, and was an amazing dancer. He was the sunshine of the group, and was really nice to all of the girls who stalked him, despite probably feeling kinda violated. He didn't sleep around much, and actually managed to keep his girlfriends for longer than a month. But all they wanted was his body and his money, not him, so it never really worked out.

Jimin was really nice too, and a really good dancer. Him and Hoseok often danced together, and were at the top of the class, unsurprisingly. He was really nice to girls as well, but a bit more playful than Hoseok. He's slept around more, since he knows a girlfriend won't really want him. It's kinda sad to think really, but at least he knows it and isn't fooled. And then we have Jungkook, the ultimate playboy if you will. He's slept with most, if not all of the people in our year, (besides me), and has no interest in a relationship. Sure he's fit as hell, but he's also a giant dickhead and will fuck around with you like you mean nothing. He's possibly the worst of them all, and the youngest.

I made awkward eye contact with Jungkook, and he looked like he was about to join me in my walk home. But Hobi took the space instead. I was a little shocked, not really expecting him to talk to me.

I gave a little wave and a smile, and he grinned back.

"Y/N, hi! Is it cool if I uh, come back to yours at some point?" I gulped a little and unknowingly started walking a bit faster, fidgety. "Oh! Not in that way!" He chuckled softly. "I meant to practice. Have you got anything yet for me to work with?" I released a breath I didn't realise I'd been holding and slowed down, nearly to a stop. I rubbed the back of my neck awkwardly.

"I have a little, but it's not... finessed." He shrugged, matching my pace.

"Can you send me it? I can start making something up with it, even if it's not perfected." He smiled again, and I nodded before realising I have no way to contact him.

"Uh, can I have your number or something?" He nodded happily, and wrote it down on my hand before I had a chance to give him a slip of paper or something. I grinned as he returned to his friends, and waved goodbye as I hurried home, desperate to come up with something more before I texted him it. I glanced back one more time before I turned a corner and lost sight of them, and saw Jungkook staring at me weirdly. Not in a perverted way, just weirdly.

I brushed it off.

I got last night's pizza out of the fridge and took it upstairs with me on my way up to my room, dying to dig in. I'd skipped lunch trying to compose some more, and I seriously regretted it. I flopped onto my bed and shred the pizza to bits with my molars as I stuffed slices after slices into my mouth. I was done in no time, and chucked it to the corner of my room.

I opened my laptop, not bothering to change, and leaned back against my pillows. I pulled up Anvil Studio and Audacity, and started playing out what I had so far on the Studio. It sounded alright, considering Jungkook had tampered with it, and I played it in. I smiled a little, adding little things throughout to try and improve it. I kept adding to my sheet and putting it into my computer, and my smile grew bigger as I continued further along.

About an hour later, I was pleased with what I had so far to send to Hobi, and put it into Audacity. I saved it and put my music sheet and pencil away. I ventured downstairs with my empty pizza box and put it into the recycling bin, and poked my head into the living room.

My parents were huddled up on the couch together, watching Family Guy. Tch, without me.

I went back upstairs and started scrolling through my Tumblr, checking out the new posts - my laptop long forgotten. I must've fallen asleep, because the next thing I remembered was my dad hovering over me with a banana peel, making bird noises. I jumped out of my skin and scrambled back against the headboard of my bed, my phone flying off of me. It fell to the floor and my dad chucked the peel at me. I squealed and chucked it after his disappearing form, watching him pretend to be shot as it hit him in the back.

I giggled and threw my phone back on the bed. I picked up the banana peel and put it in the bin downstairs, glaring at my dad playfully. He shrugged and sipped his tea, ignoring me as he went back into the living room.

I suddenly remembered I was supposed to send Hoseok the music and raced upstairs, quickly recording what I'd made on the computer. I sent it through to the number he gave me, and awaited a reply. I read nearly five chapters of Chill Factor - the third book in the Weather Warden series, by Rachel Caine - before hearing my phone go off. Hoseok had finally texted me back:

This is a good piece to work with, good job :)

I couldn't help but smile, and sent back a reply. Thanks ^_^ glad you like it

I felt quite chuffed with myself, and went back to reading as I thought about what he might come up with as a dance to it.

A couple of hours later, around 7:15pm, Hoseok texted me again.

Hey, think I could come over on the weekend? I should have something to show you by then, see what you think :)

I smiled, thinking. It was Wednesday today - three days. I nodded to myself and replied quickly. I hoped I didn't seem to eager, like I was waiting around for him to text me.

Saturday 4pm sound good? It felt good to be in control. A few minutes later he responded again.

See you then :)

I was excited to see what he came up with.
