I slept for most of that day, being so tired from my activities with Jungkook. I woke up around half four, still tired. I groaned as I rolled over to get my phone from the floor. I looked beyond it and found my clothes from this morning scattered around. When I'd snuck in, not long after seven, I hadn't bothered put anything away; I just dumped everything on the floor and snuggled under my covers.

I bit my lip as I saw how long I'd slept, and quickly checked my notifications. Twelve missed calls off of Maya, two messages from Jungkook and one from Hoseok. I opened Jungkook's messages first.

Hope you sleep well, baby ❤️

I smiled softly as I saw his message. I kept reading.

Afternoon, sweetness 🤗 are we doing Christmas presents this year? I know we've been a bit unsteady..

I rolled my eyes. More than a 'bit' unsteady, doof.

I quickly sent back a happy sure and a kiss, and moved onto Hoseok's message.

Jungkook told me what happened. Are you sure about this?

I frowned. Maybe he was right. Maybe not.

He deserves a second chance.

I left it at that and went on to ringing Maya. She picked up after four rings, and screamed into the phone.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU ANSWER MY CALLS I WAS SO CONFUSED I WANT ALL THE DETAILS TELL ME EVERYTHING!" I held the phone away from my ear as I tried to remember texting her that Jungkook and I were back together. The text was there, I'd checked, but I couldn't remember. Ah well, saved me doing it now I suppose.

She squealed loudly, but this time I wasn't quick enough to take the phone away from me. My head started hurting on the right side. "He rung me up this morning at like four and took me up the mountain and we stargazed and cuddled and I agreed to be his girlfriend again and then I fell asleep and he woke me up for the sunrise and then he took me home and-"

"Breathe." I took a deep breath. "Continue."

"And he kissed me goodnight and hugged me." She screamed so loud I could tell she'd been keeping it in for a while.

Once she finished, she paused before talking.

"Are you sure though?" I rolled my eyes.

"Hoseok asked me that too, so I'll tell you what I told him. He deserves a second chance, everyone does." She sighed happily.

"YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!" I said goodbye and hung up before my eardrums burst and wrapped myself up in my blankets, rolling around. I smiled as I closed my eyes and went back to sleep, thinking about Jungkook.

Christmas was great. Our parents managed to make it home, and me and Jimin jumped on their bed - nearly breaking it - at seven am. We'd already been awake for nearly three hours, and we couldn't wait anymore. We'd been doing it since we learned to walk, and even after all these years, we didn't give up.

I hadn't opened my present from Jungkook until then, and I was killing myself with the excitement. I tore it open and unsheathed a small box. My heart started beating faster as I thought about a diamond ring, gleaming and shining. It wasn't though, much to my relief, although I wouldn't have complained.

He got me a small pendant on thick string. The pendant had a small dragon on it, with a pristine, glittering emerald in the middle of it, it's tail curled around it. The Emerald stone was my birthstone, and I squealed from happiness as I slipped it over my head. It hung comfortably just above my breasts, and I marvelled at the fit.
