Salam Alaikum /hello folks,

It's been so long I haven't written a new chapter but don't blame me because I had my finals and yes, for 3 weeks can you imagine? But hey my summer vacation has just started and I can't believe that.

So In Sha Allah I'll be engaged to writing this story and I hope you'll like it.

This chapter is pretty short but I promise the next one is going to be long.

Enjoy xx

Andalus's POV

I woke up today feeling literally sick. When I was going to the kitchen I felt dazy for a couple of minutes. My head hurt me like someone was knocking on it the whole time. After a moment I went to the bathroom, my face looked so yellow and my hands were slightly shaking. I went back to my bedroom and left the door open and when I was going to close it I fainted.

"How do you feel Andalus?" A warm voice asked me waking me up.

I opened my eyes and found myself in a different room. This bed isn't as soft as my bed and there was that weird smell ... of hospitals.

"What am I doing here?" I asked. I could barely open my mouth and talk.

"I found you unconscious in your room." A voice said and I knew for a moment it was my brother Rayan.

When I got up I felt like I was in a roller coaster.

"I want to go home." I said moving my right arm.

"It's okay dear you're going to be okay." the same warm voice said and looking through her face I recognized it was aunty Iman's voice.

Aunty Iman or Dr.Iman is my mother's friend and she lives with us in the same neighborhood. She is a gynecologist and her husband is my father's friend and he is a surgeon too. She has one daughter and two sons. Her sons are my brothers' friends and her daughter is a friend of mine but we are not that close to each other and she will graduate from high school this year.

" I'm not feeling comfortable. " I said looking at both of them, beginning.

" You will be at home within an hour In Sha Allah and you'll be okay dear. " Dr.Iman said smiling then she went outside.

" How long I've been here? "

"3 hours." Rayan said rolling his eyes.

" you don't have to be here if you don't want to. I'll go home by myself."

" No of course not, I won't let you. " he said with a sigh.

My mother and my father travelled to Algeria because my grandmother ( Mother's mother ) is so sick and I had to stay here to take care of my brothers though I wanted to see her so bad. She had a stroke and so they had to see her. On the other hand, being responsible is such a hard job but I'm capable of doing it, well I hope so. It's been two weeks since they've been there and I'm already missing them.

It was Saturday night when my mother talked to me on the phone, then she talked to Rayan and asked him how things were going. I told him not to tell her about what had happened to me today and surprisingly he listened to me. After we finished talking to her I took my pills and I got a call from aunty Iman.

"Alsalam alaikum Andalus, how are you?"

"Wa alaikum alsalam aunty. I'm feeling better than this morning alhamdulilah."

"Alhamdulilah. Don't forget to take your pills. By the way how's your mother?"

"I already did. She is fine, I was talking to her and she said everything is better now alhamdulilah."

"Good to hear that. I'm here whenever you need anything. Take care of yourself and goodnight."

"Thank you so much aunty. Alsalam alaikum."

After finishing the call I went to the bathroom to take a shower and when I finished I did wudu then I prayed Isha.

"Can I come in?" Yusuf asked knocking on the door after I finished my last Rakaa.

"Sure."

"how are you today?" he asked while sitting on the edge of my bed.

"I'm fine thank you. What is it?" I smirked.

"There's nothing I swear. I wanted to check on you because I didn't see you this morning." he said rolling his eyes.

"that's interesting." I said smiling.

"why are you smiling?" he asked gritting his teeth.

"I'm just smiling. Probably because you care about me somehow." I said playing with his hair and smiling.

"I'm not a girl don't do that."

"but you are my young little brother." I said teasing him.

"Agh. Why do you always like to ruin my mood? and for your information I guess your pasta is burning."

Omg the pasta!! I totally forgot about it. I went downstairs running like Bolt and alhamdulilah nothing happened to it. We finished our dinner and went to our rooms.

The next day.

There was nothing precisely interesting happened. I made sure that my brother Yusuf got everything for his school tomorrow before I went to sleep and as usual not forgetting his attitude towards me, and him calling me as usual ... an old headache.

It's been two months now since we've started the university and here you go, lots of projects and exams are on the way.
