Wow. I'm stunned. That was...AMAZING! I've known Dave Malloy for a long time, but I didn't know he could pull something like this off. Everyone was amazing, but only one person caught my eye for the show: Straight out of Juliard, Phillipa Soo. By all means everyone was amazing, but she has something that no one else has.
"Lin." "Lin!" It's Vanessa. "Hm?" "We should get going. We need to pay the babysitter and make sure Sebastian is okay." "Right. Look I'll meet you in the car, but let me tell Lac a few things." "Okay I'll be waiting." I hand her the car keys and she is out the door.
I find Lacamoire and tell him some very important things. "Hey Lin. Where's Vanessa?" "She's waiting at the car. Look man I've gotta go, but get Phillipa Soo's contact info and tell her some stuff about the show. She would be perfect for the role of Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton." "You're right. I'll get everything and talk to her about it." "Thanks Lac. I should get going. Thanks for inviting us. Goodnight. "Night Lin."
It was a pretty good night after all.
