I woke up to the light breathing of someone behind me. Turning slowly I saw a very familiar face. I moved slowly trying to slip off the bed but my legs collapsed but before I could hit my head on the side table a hand stretched out and caught me the doctor looked up concerned.

"Morning..... Thanks" I said gratefully

"Morning are you all right"

"Im fine over a thousand years stuck in metal im obviously gonna have a bit of a problem thanks for coming for me as soon as it was convenient" I snapped getting up I slowly wobbled to the floor getting past the door and I was out of breath sliding against the wall I took a few deep breaths before going towards the kitchen stopping every few yards to breath. Soon I was walking through the door exhausted by the effort of getting there my a hand grabbed my arm and helped lead me to the table. I looked up and saw a man who passed me his plate of food and tea before cooking his own.

I scoffed down the meal starving after so long without food.

"Im Jack I've been trying to find you with the doctor im ..... Im your...... Im your dad. The reason you have survived so long is because I cant die. A friend she put some sort of vortex power into me to save me from dieing but now im immortal and it seems you are to" he said while grabbing his face and sliding it down to his chin.

I didn't say anything what could I say. I had already figured out who he was so before my brain had been complety slabafied the doctor must have taken it off while I was unconscious looking at the man in front of me, Jack, my dad. He was so young most likely late 20s brown hair and well he was Jack but then the hate of how long they had left me caused me to get up and walk away. I went as fast as I could away I went to the control room straight to the doors opening them I saw we were in the middle of space in between nothing and more nothing. Closing the doors I hid under the stairs. If I couldn't die then what would I do live a life he wasn't my dad if he was he would have looked for me not left me in the orphanage but how do I get away he's gotta drop me off soon I hardly no him and I could probably go to the closest hospital and pretend I have amnesia that would explain why I can't remember anything maybe hit my head hard on something to make it more believable.

The doctor walked up the steps to the control before taking a few steps back he lay on his front looking through the steps he saw my tear filled face and gave me a weak smile.

"Drop me off I don't want to stay" I whisper hoping my voice wouldn't crack. He nodded before setting off knowing that he couldn't change my mind nothing could make me stay not even a time machine.

I stepped through the doors without thanking them or saying goodbye I just walked away hoping the pain would stop I walked along a bustling street hoping they wouldn't look for me I was getting so tired and the pain was getting worse l soon my feet couldnt hold me and I fell to the floor a handful of people came to my rescue the rest just got on with there life I soon slipped into unconsciousness.
