The doctors eyes slid to the hares I knew from experience they were gonna have a conversation so the doctor could come with a genius plan probably including a distraction then a run.

"Why, what was all this for?" The Doctor asked

"We lost all our archives" the hare with Darius in his arms replied

"That doesn't mean you need to torture innocent beings you can't treat anyone like that I will stop you. I will return and if any humans have been harmed.... I've warned you cause you don't want me as an enemy cause im worse than all of them. Im the doctor and I order you to leave the humans alone" the end of the speech caused his voice to grow louder and louder.

Before walking out the door he soniced a computer filing all records needed about the human race. Gently lifting Jack Jr. from the hares arms he walked to the Tardis me and Jack Sr. followed in a calm manor we entered the Tardis.

The doctor was laying Jack in his cot and turned around with a little spin before smiling at his companions. Grabbing my waist he pulled me into a hug and whispered in my ears what had gone through his mind when I hadn't returned. I gasped as I understood the meaning of the words. I walked to Jack Sr. and gave him a hug.

"Doctor, Heather it's time for me to leave Torchwood needs me" Jack explained

The doctor nodded before setting the coordinates to earth. We said our goodbyes and he was gone doctor gave him a phone so we well I could keep in contact with him it was short and sweet the goodbye and then he was gone.

I turned to the doctor who smiled at me before kissing me softly on the lips.

"You really meant what you whispered hey" I laughed

He grinned and nodded

"Well I might not have time for a hot alien nerd especially as im always travelling and getting into trouble and I have Darius to look after so the only time in my schedule is between 8 pm -12pm after that I sleep as my day usually includes a run" I smirked

And he just laughed.

I put Darius and his cot into the room next to me the Tardis did most of the work so me and the doctor would go on short adventures but we always had the doctors connection to the Tardis if anything went wrong. Life on board the Tardis was perfect and I was happy the doctor was happy and that was all that mattered.
