Chapter 18

Doctors POV

Our trips, well let's just say something big is coming I don't know what but it's close with Heather and Darius on board I wasn't sure what to do usually I would face it and win but I had to protect a child now a baby but that would make this impossible.

"Doctor whats happening" Heather whispered "you keep walking off and thinking and in the middle of our adventures you seem to click pieces together and you dont tell me" she was explaining.

My hand slid down my clean shaven face deciding what I should do, I knew what I had to do it was just explaining this to Heather.

"The stars on different planets they are going out if a certain amount of stars go out then the universe will disintergrate the stars they all have a magnetic hold to the universe and each other but if we lose many more stars then the balance will cause all the other stars to float around and crash into the other stars and planets" I explained " Someone must be collecting all the energy stars have"

"We have to stop this what are we going to do" Heather asked

"Well your going to go home in the parallel universe and start again the stars aren't going out there but I cant keep you and Darius safe, the thing is I cant come back another of my friends is trapped there with her family Rose I cant get you back you have to stay and start a new life I will come for you if there is time but if I get stuck there I could cause a rift staying longer than a week could cause the whole universe to snap" I explained

Tears streamed down her face and I reached out and swept them off her face.

"You'll be alone again I can live forever with y.." she started I cut her off

"Darius hasn't got the gene he won't live forever you have to stay with him you cant come back in 100 years he won't be there you have to stay with him move every few years and watch him be with him when he starts to walk and gets good grades in school when he graduates, when he marries you have to be by his side when he dies" I nearly shouted

She nodded "I'll miss you I will get you back if it takes another 1,000 years thats fine but I will come back and we will be together forever" she smiled

Then she left and packed her few bags and picked Darius up before coming back placing the bags on the floor she used her spare arm and gave me a hug

"I forget to mention there's a chance we get sucked into the void" I smiled as if it was an every day occurence

She shook her head understanding I wasn't joking and I started the Tardis up ready with a last push of a lever we were off. We were shook side to side and I controlled the Tardis so we wouldn't go upside down that always hurt and we landed.

"Goodbye " I whispered through my cracked throat and handed her a sheet of paper she smiled knowing that it was physic paper.

"Goodbye" she smiled and walked out the door .
