Chapter 14

Doctors POV

We waited ages for Heather to return. But she never came back we waited the darkness threatened to rip out the sky and turn to dawn we had waited too long and now we had to find her Jack had gone to bed I had just waited by the steps.

I had to find her using the sonic I teleported Jack here he fell to the floor like a sack of potatos he jumped awake and took on a fighting pose until he saw my worried face and knew something was wrong he looked around and guessed straight away what was wrong.

We ran into the morning sun and fighted through the crowds I guess people here are early risers. We ran through the streets I ran to the toilets damn there were at least 50 cubicles I groaned but with Jack we searched them all at the last door I was hoping she'd be there opening the door my jaw dropped and I gave a whistle Jack came thundering towards me .

We entered the dark shaft crawling through until we could stand up I had a very cool head lamp on which was the only light in the dark tunnel we soon were running miles and miles ziggzagging and crawling and side stepping in the narrow parts.

When we got to the end we were in a large white reception area filled with hares the ones that ruled opposite land and they looked menacingly friendly as if the trip through the tunnels was nothing.
