“So you must be sometime of superhero who is impossible and is probably an alien of some sort” I asked his face showed shock

“I’m over 900 why aren’t you freaking out…… your weird” He answered

“Maybe lonely people are weird then or maybe everyone else are weird and were the normal ones” I wondered nearly to myself

“I’m not lonely” he argued

“You live in a blue box that’s bigger on the inside isn’t that what kids play in you know cardboard boxes that are impossible and no one else is here otherwise I would have seen them by now anyway your face shows your loneliness” I was blubbering “How long have you been lonely?”

“A long time….I had this friend Rose she was amazing, the best friend I could ever have” a tear slipped out his eye “She’s gone……I will never see her again…. after her I tried to find a replacement I made some great friends but I’ve ruined their lives some of them don’t even remember me and no one can replace her, Martha, Donna no one can compete….. she was the best friend that seemed to just make the whole world that little bit more exciting” he said methodically thinking before each sentence.

“I can never find a friend who will live as long as me and I try to slip away but I always see them again sometime or other”

I stayed silent no words could repair his pain he was alone and nobody could live to 200 let alone 900, he was cursed by loneliness all his friends die. And he will live.

“I’ll stay awhile if you want nobody will miss me” I say while slowly moving to hold his hand and gently walked him inside the box. “So what is this place then it wasn’t here before” I ask hoping he would be relieved by a change in conversation.

“It’s the Tardis, my time travelling machine… if you want to stay, I suppose I could introduce you to your dad…” He started

“You know my dad, please don’t, I don’t want to meet him he choose not to get me I don’t want to see him” I didn’t want a family reunion he knew about me but left me my mum must have known him and told him he was probably worse than the orphanage, the burger van and Darren if he could leave me on my own like that.

“But he’s your dad wait I’m not sure if he’s your dad wait here” he started mumbling

He took the stairs three at a time and went straight underneath the glass floor he went to a small compartment and started chucking things over his shoulder a large pile soon covered the floor

“Aha got it” he said while jumping back up the stairs “the metagenephonic thingymabobby will do the trick he said while walking past me he took a cap off the side and stuck it into my flesh

“Umm what was that for” I asked shocked

“Easier doing it quickly… I’m just going to use my thingymabobby to see if you have the right genes” he answered

He took his screwdriver and scanned for something his face showed me that something was wrong as his smile turned to a frown seconds after looking at the readings on the sonic screwdriver.

“What is it doctor what’s wrong” I asked cautiously

“Nothing its fine were just going on a short trip to Cardiff I have some mail I need to pick up you can stay in the room you found yourself in” he said sharply

“Okay cya when we get there” I said he was obviously not in the mood to talk the Tardis rocked side to side and I nearly fell down the stairs as I went back to the room thinking about my day.

The rocking had stopped so I thought I would just have a look around there was a small ensuite through one of the doors the over to a separate staircase that went down and down. In one of the drawers I saw loads of matching bow ties in another crisp and clean shirts replicated neatly together. The room was a good size with a large bed it was all decorated in a red, brown and white colour scheme which looked great against all the walnut wood doors and furniture. On the bedside table an Agatha Christie book lay after finishing exploring the room I got bored so I sat on the bed and flicked through the book.

Soon I found myself awakening the book on page 206 why hadn’t he woken me yet it would only take a few hours to get to Cardiff. I quickly went back to the main deck and found the Doctor nowhere to be seen. I searched through a few of the corridors when I got back to the main desk I thought it was probably time to see what was outside the door wouldn’t open great it was locked I tried to push the doors but nothing ahhhhhh this was so frustrating outside through the small windows at the CIA we were in Cardiff and he hadn’t even got me before he went outside.

I waited

I waited

I waited

And waited

Nothing

No one

I was trapped in a stupid box that no one even noticed he was only going for his mail or did he lie. I’m so stupid I should never have come with him I was much happier in that stupid orphanage. It must have been hours ago he went I sat leaning against the stairs leading to the double doors.
