Chapter 10

Doctors POV

I woke to an empty bed she had gotten up and was probably in the kitchen. Then I remembered her harsh words I understood completely. I quickly went to the room that River was in. Openings the door I saw her just standing up and dropping the handcuffs Jack must have placed on her. She saw me and sat down straight away.

"You remember me then otherwise you would have tried to escape" I explained

Her smirk said it all

"How could I not know you" River replied

I quickly scanned her with the sonic she had a mind block installed and those were tricky buggers using the sonic I ran to the control room and put the sonic into the timesignal to see if I could follow the signal it landed on a planet.

A planet I knew well. Before the near extinction of the Timelords we had all won that planet for the Ood to live in peace in a snow covered planet was calm and so beautiful. But then that species was enslaved no Ood lived on that planet. It was the closest to home I could get it had a purple sky and if you dug deep enough under the snow you would find red grass sprouting in the snow.

River came up behind me looked at the planet and whispered its name

"Yafillia ..... 100"

"What why did you say 100" I asked confused

"I didn't .... 99" River replied

"Your on a timer" I muttered "Jack were going to move got to find a signal I cant land on that planet with the Tardis I'll have to lock her and we"ll have to jump" I ordered while Jack walked into the room.

"River you have to come so get ready" I quickly ordered her too

Using the lock was hard work I had to make the Tardis believe it was landing on ground. When it was done I moved the Tardis about three meters above the ground and climbed out Jack dropped River then jumped down himself the snow cushioned the landing.

"Right we have to follow the signal Jack keep an eye on River she nearly escaped this morning oh and don't touch the grass it has sensors in them that's another reason we didn't park the Tardis the snow won't be to thick so fast walk" I quickly explained

"But what happens if we do step on the grass...." River asked before her head started shaking side to side really fast when it stopped all she said was

"69"

" There speeding up the countdown come on we have to hurry"

Running through the snow we could see a large expanse of snow and we ran somettimes changing direction when the sonic started bleeping soon we had run at least a mile or so we were in the middle of the expanse of snow when we noticed more and more bright red grass.

Looking up into the sky I saw a pristine blue sun shine over the snow causing more and more to melt it got more difficult to cross slowing down we started tip toeing on the last patches of snow. We were consumed about a metre away was a concrete building.

"We have to jump" I shout behind me I jump as far as I can next came River and then Jack everything went in slow motion as he tripped and his foot hit the grass.

Looking at River I saw her do the funny head wobble again.

"34" was all she said then it happened all over again "23" the floor started as the earthquakes shook the ground I left Jack and River at the entrance and ran until I came face to face with a stray Ood just staring at me with his bright red eyes I stepped back and went through the next door I saw a large machine with wires pokeing into a large test tube inside was River her naked body looked asleep as she breathed in a liquid oxygen and food supply turning the machine off River woke up and started banging on the glass I used sonic waves to break the glass and just as the last earthquake hit the floor stood still and we were running out the building hand in hand saw Jack trying to get the heart of the River to work when he saw me and Real River he sighed and we ran to the Tardis jumping onto Jack's broad shoulders I quickly unlocked the door and got River inside the Tardis with me before dragging Jack into it as well before flying off.
