Maeva's POV:

The drive home is quiet, as soon as we arrive, I sit down on one of our couches. Vanessa is on my left with her arm around me and Niall is in front of us.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" He asks.

I sigh, "I'm gonna have to eventually so I might as well get it over with."

"There has to be a way to make him realize his mistake, are you sure he wasn't drunk?"

"No V., he was perfectly sober."

Niall frowns, "But how is that possible, isn't he your mate? Do you think the moon goddess could have made a mistake?"

"That's unheard of!"

"I felt tingles just by looking at him, even before I met him, he is exactly how I would describe my perfect guy. It's not a mistake."

"What are we going to do Maeva?"
Vanessa looks at me hesitantly, "Have you thought about rejecting him?"

"It would be no use, I'd only end up killing myself, I already grew attached, it's too late." I frown slightly, "I'm going to do what I planned all along, I'll wait for him even if it kills me and Ann, if I tell him he'll run away for sure, I don't want to force him into this. And if we are really meant to be together, he'll realize it and one way or another it'll all fall into place."

"But what about Charlot-"

I cut Niall off, "Right now he's happy with her. I love him, I only want his happiness, even if it costs me mine."

"The Alpha is one lucky man." Niall said as he and V. gently pulled me in their arms.

Logan's POV:

When she leaves to talk to her friend, my eyes linger on her. I can't help it. Maeva, I think. I usually am horrible at remembering names. I mean she is the definition of gorgeous. The way her long hair cascade down her back as she walks, or the way her beautiful hazel eyes shine when she smiles.. Every inch of my body is pushing me towards her. I just shrug off the feeling.

I'm talking to a guy I had met, I think his name is Niall, when I hear a certain commotion, also known as Cameron squeal. I look up and smile when I see her coming towards me with Charlotte. I wink at Cam, grab Charlotte's hand, and take her to Gab's lawn. I can almost hear Cam's smirk as I walk away with her best friend. Charlotte smiles shyly at me. Her chestnut brown hair is delicately pulled up into a bun in which she put a few feathers. Her brown eyes compliment her Pocahontas costume. Now I wish I had picked John Smith out of that freaking hat! I should have been her Prince.

We sit down on a steel bench just under a window. Charlotte lays her head on my shoulder as I wrap an arm around her shoulder. She knows how I feel about her. Cameron had introduced us a while back. At the beginning I only thought of her as friend. I had a girlfriend at the time. Things changed when she cheated on me. Let's just say that I'm the kind of guy that hates being single. I need somebody to love. I don't do one night stands, I respect myself and women. Cheating is something I cannot stand. I could never bring myself to hurt my girlfriend that way. Needless to say, I immediately broke up with my ex, then the loneliness kicked in. I started looking for someone that I cared for. I realized that I did care for Charlotte, even if it wasn't love, I could learn to love her. We flirted and one night I told her I liked her and asked her to be mine. She told me she would think about it. She is supposed to tell me tonight.

"How have you been?" I ask.

"Okay I guess." She sighs, "Are you having a good time so far?"

My mind immediately wanders to the girl dressed as Anastasia. Wait what?! Why am I thinking about her? I did have a really nice evening with her but it's supposed to be better now that Charlotte is here!
