A/N:

For anyone still reading... I AM SO SORRY. I have been so bad at updating. It's not that I don't want to, I swear! I've just been so tired. The funny thing is I know exactly where this story is going to go and how it ends now that I've decided that it won't have a sequel 🙃 like I've had this chapter planned in my head for weeks, but I never wrote it out ugh. Anyways, here it is sorry for the wait. ALSO: Dinah is not bad in this story! It may seem like it at first, but she really isn't I swear!!

The pair dated for about a month.

Ally was nothing short of a perfect girlfriend, she baked countless sweets for the taller girl, walked her to each of her classes, held her hand whenever she could, and would clear her entire schedule just to be able to hang out with Dinah when the girl was free. She could spend hours gushing over her girlfriend if anyone would listen to her for that long.

Dinah, however, seemed a little bit more... reserved.

She wouldn't really talk about their relationship with anyone, not even Ally. After their kiss at Dinah's house, Dinah declared they were dating and that was that. But she would rarely ever kiss the small girl after that, her smiles seemed almost forced, and their was something on her phone she didn't want her girlfriend to see. But, you would only notice these things if you really looked.

Which is what Normani did.

It's not like she was obsessively analyzing the pair or anything. She was just... Observant.

Also she had cheerleading with Dinah, and sometimes she would have Ally tag along to sit in the bleachers to watch. The Polynesian treated the other girl as if she was her best friend, nothing more. Ally however, looked at Dinah as if the sun shined out of her ass. It was sickening in Normani's opinion. Today was one of these days.

"Hey Ally" Normani walked towards the bleachers where the girl was perched. They had a five minute break and Normani figured she would go talk to her friend. Honestly, she should be perfecting her back tuck. In the 40 minutes of practicing they had been doing, she still couldn't nail it. Her coach was practically steaming at the ears every time she would land on the ground and stumbled backwards. But right now, Ally was more important.

Also the fact that Taylor was also on the cheer squad. The blonde girl watched her like a hawk as she walked over to the girl in the bleachers. She had nearly had an aneurysm when she heard that Ally was dating Dinah. Her little scheme had to be put on hold for the time being. But she still pushed Normani to get close to the girl anyways.

Ally pealed her eyes off of Dinah, who was sitting with the other cheerleaders in the middle of the gym. The taller girl was texting someone on her phone, looking around making sure no one was looking at her screen.

"Hey Mani." She pushed away the feeling in her stomach seeing Dinah once again being secretive about her phone and beamed at her friend.

"Are you liking the routine so far? It's by far the most complex we've ever done."

"Oh.. um yeah it seems really hard with all the flips and stuff. Honestly cheerleading isn't really all that interesting to me, sorry." The small girl admitted quietly.

Normani tried not to get too offended and replied, "Then why do you come to, like, all of our meets?" she chuckled, "You could be doing stuff you actually like."

Ally just sighed and looked at her girlfriend who was still typing on her phone in the distance, before looking back at her friend with a sad smile.

"Because Dinah asks me to."

Before Normani could reply, her coach was yelling that their break was over and to get back into formation. She looked at Ally sympathetically before jogging back into her center spot. She peered over to the Latina once more before their count started. She expected the girl's eyes to be zeroed in on Dinah as they usually were. But instead, her eyes were locked onto Normani.
