Chapter VI .

I take a turn around here ... big, briquette, antique mansion with ancient expensive furniture, large garden; this place is not that bad I guess, except it's completely isolated and surrounded by woods where different Cannibals live.

I went back inside to look for Martha, it's 10:13 am as I pass the clock on the wall

"Martha! Martha!" I called her

"Here" she replied shouting

I followed her voice to find her at the end of the hallway that leads to the right back garden door standing with the young driver.

"What are you doing?" I asked

"Come," she said leading me out to the garden

"you see we have some planted vegetables and fruits here that Homer 'the gardener' has been taking care of but we need some other stuff like meat, I could ask Howard 'the chef' to go hunting in the woods but..." I cut her "hunt?"

"Oh yeah, it's very legal and common here, these woods are full of hunters WHICH MEANS you need to stay away from" she said

I used to go for hunting with Joe every end of fall for a week or more on the name of how to survive in nature; before I really hate it but with time it became more as an adventure or as a challenge

"Will do" I turned to face the driver and heard her saying GOOD

"You are the driver right?" I said to the guy standing next to us

"Yes, Miss Haynes! I'm the driver my name is Eugene Miles" he answered

The guy looks young I would say 24, 25, tall around 6'1 dark brown hair with green eyes

"He started this month" Martha added

I didn't want to look rude so I quickly nodded to her then smiled nodding my head for him once as welcome which he copied and said thank you.

"Ah! Eugene is going downtown if you need something tell him and he will take care of it" Martha said while examining the plants

The town?! Yeah, why not? I haven't been there yet

"No" I turned to Eugene and told him "I am coming with you so wait for me" I told him and I was just about getting back to the house for bringing my bag or wallet even Martha spoke

"I don't think it's a good idea miss grace Philip said that you can't leave the house or stay out of my sight, you are my responsibility"

Turning to look at her "No problem you can come too" I said and left to my room but I heard her coming after me, I reached there but before I close the door Martha got in

"Please Miss Grace! You can't leave the mansion Philip will be really mad and it's really not safe for you" Martha begged

I am getting full of this crap "first: I am not leaving I am just going out, second: I don't care let him be, third: you people should really agree on what to say, it's safe or not I am going to decide now, so please Martha I am going to change my clothes now you too excuse yourself and go do the same because we are going downtown" I said opening the door for her

Thankfully she didn't argue more and did what I told her leaving the room to hers, I quickly change my clothes, grab my phone, a matching wallet and run downstairs; a moment later Martha joined me and Eugene in the car, I'm setting on the passenger seat so she set on the back.

I am really excited but I don't know why I'm just so curious about this place I want to see it, see it all and more like... I don't know I just have this feeling to explore, maybe because it's my grandfather hometown even I am sure is not...Ah! I fee confuse now why Philip said it's his childhood place and not anybody is allowed to be here like privet town? Or something... WEIRD, and from mom's reaction that day she obviously doesn't know about it but dad does?! And also Dominic knows and I'm sure his dad knows because he's Joe's old and close friend and because of that me and Dom met, I guess it's a place where they gather for business and work because I saw some factories the other day, is that means that Joe want me here to learn some business staff and work? WHY do I feel like I'm in some mafia movie or something if not why all this confinement it's so suspicious I just don't have time for all this! School has already started; Well that doesn't concern me only some, I'm a good student plus I have decided that I will be homeschooling this year it's my last year in high school but I can sacrifice it if that means I won't have to see those ugly faces.
