Grace P.O.V:

"Aaaaaah!" I screamed waking up with a jolt, my eyes wide open and I could feel the sweat drops running on my lower back and forehead, sitting myself up, my heart beating so fast as I breathe heavily, I looked around me and it took me a minute to remember the place then I looked at myself, I don't even remember me changing my clothes

"Eh! What happened" I said as I tried to touch my head

"What happened!" the door shoot open showing an alerted Martha and short behind her was Eugene

"That's my question" soon I said that I saw both of them breathing out so I looked at them confused, my head is hurting, I try to recall the previous events...

"Oh! Thank god you are awake" She said approaching me to squeeze me in her arms

"You made us really worried, what took you so long to wake up" she added

"Emm a nice dream maybe hhh" said Eugene with a big smile

"Actually a nightmare!" I said and both their faces fell

"You guys are okay? What happened...? Please tell me I wasn't imagining" I asked slowly my head low looking at my hands on my lap, I feel really confused right now was it all a dream I mean A nightmare; I don't want to sound like an idiot so I asked, did that really happened?

Martha looked behind her at Eugene and nodded her head, he immediately smiled at me and left the room closing the door behind him

"Ah! I don't know how to explain it to you" she started

"All I can say that so-called lawyer Pane wasn't a good guy he tried to hurt you and he used some gas that I can't really remember its name to paralyze us, I couldn't say a word... Philip called our agents they will catch him soon, can you remember what happened?!"

"Gas! Are you serious? Why would he do that? ... I can't remember much just when you called me downstairs, I talked to him about something... then I ran to you... I can't remember, everything is so foggy"

"It's okay now! We are all okay! Forget about it and try to take a rest, I will make you some food myself, okay?" she kissed the side of my face and rose herself where she was sitting on the side of the bed but before she leaves I asked, "is Philip here?"

"Yes, he is outside... I will call him for you" she said before giving me a smile and leave the room

Not a minute passed and Philip came in

"How are you feeling?" he said as he closed the door to my bedroom and gripped one of the two round table's chairs next to the balcony on my right and place it next to my bad where he is sitting now

"Fine just... confused somehow, what happened? And gas?!"

"Just unfortunate events it's all because of my omission, I am really sorry I will be more careful lady Grace" he said and I felt guilty myself for making him feel guilty

"It's fine Philip! Let's just hope for the better right now"

"Yes my lady"

"So when we are going back"

"Going back?"

"Aren't we going home?" I said and fixing my orientation to face him

"No! Unfortunately not, Lady Grace"

"Oh! Come-on Philip, we can't stay here is not save, why do we have too even, why do I have to stay here Philip, what for? Don't lie at me!" it was silence for a moment I just kept looking at his blue eyes they showed a lot of mixed emotions I can't identify them all but one... sadness

He did the same just staring back at my green ones, he looks deep in thoughts... what is he thinking about?

"I wish I can tell you but... Not yet!" that's all that he said before he rose from that chair and left

What just happened?

"Ah!" I said throwing myself back but I regret doing so because soon my head had hit the pillow a great headache clutched

How long have I been sleeping, before I came here I would never be able to sleep in a new place to me, at least for the first couple nights but that clearly is not working here, I reached my hand to my nightstand to check my phone

9:48 Am

4th September

What? 4th? Last time I remember we were the 1st Sep, I slept all that time? Damn, I truly came here to master laziness and practice sleep, maybe that's the real raisin why I am here! If there is a competition for it, I am positive I can win that.

*nock nock*

"Come in"

"Your breakfast is read"

"Ah thank you, Martha, I am starving!"

"You are very welcomed my Lady!" She smiled at me after placed the tray on my round table and excused herself.

The food smells heavenly, I know it's not because of me been hungry but Martha is a great cook; I ignored my craving for a shower till I devoured all that was on my plate.

The warm water felt great on my sore muscles, I enjoyed every second of this shower! I stepped out of the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around me

The room looks super clean; it must be Martha had clean it while I was in the shower. Did I take that long? Oh well!

I turned to my closet to notice a note on my nightstand next to my phone

{Philip: your tennis set are ready, you can start practice anytime!}

Perfect!

Hi GUYS!!! it's been months since I updated (sorry) it's just I kept writing but I never published them! we hit 1k long time ago now we are 1.5k THANK U!
