Heaven's Calling

{Ashley's POV}

My eyes opened, and the first thing I saw was an old, rusty-looking ceiling. Climbing to my feet, I looked around, jumping when I noticed the curly-haired kid that led the group of kids from the woods earlier. "Hello, Ashley," he said, giving me a small smile.

"What is this? Where am I?" I wondered, gesturing to the space around us.

"This is an elevator. It takes you to Hell, Heaven, or purgatory, depending on where I'm instructed to send you." he explained. His words reminded me of Jake, though this seemed much less extravagant than his description of his Halls.

     "So, I'm...dead?" I asked.

"Yes. You were killed by Courtney, the leader of a cult called Silence the Noise, out to destroy music. She killed you after you killed Andrew," the boy explained. I closed my eyes as memories began flooding my mind.

"I...I stabbed Andy. Is he in heaven? Am I going to Hell?" I wondered.

"You have nothing to worry about, Ashley. God knows that you killed Andy to save him from his evil side. He knows you are a good person. You're going upstairs. I just thought I'd explain a bit, first. This all can be confusing," he explained.

"Is Andy there?" I asked again. The boy simply smiled, and hit a button on the elevator pad behind him. A bright light flooded the room, and I looked up, shielding my eyes as the elevator ascended. The elevator opened revealing a blinding white hallway.

Curiously, I stepped out of the elevator, but stopped when I heard voices. I followed the voices and came down a staircase, shocked to see a few familiar faces. "Hey, Ash!" Jake cheered, giving me a warm smile. I went up to him, pulling him into a big hug. "It's good to see you, too, man." he laughed, patting me on the back.

"I missed ya, Jake!" I laughed, smiling at seeing my friend again. Jinxx stepped up beside him, and I instantly gave him a hug, too. "Hey, Jinxx!"

"Hey, Ash!" CC ran up and jumped at me, giving me a super big hug. I laughed as I hugged him back. "Can you believe this, Ash? This is Heaven!" he said, gesturing to the room around us.

"Yeah, it definitely is crazy." I said, laughing at his child-like wonder. I looked around, and saw the Fall Out Boy guys all standing around on the other side of the room, talking to each other. Patrick saw me looking at them and smiled, waving at me. I gave him a smile, and noticed that his hook was gone, his hand in its place.

"Hey, wait. Where's Andy?" I asked, turning back to my friends, and noticing he was gone.

"They said he was coming..." Jake stopped, not wanting to even think of the possibility of being lied to.

"Wait, I hear something." Jinxx said, turning to the staircase.

When I first laid eyes on him, it was as if we were falling in love for the first time all over again. He looked at Jake, Jinxx, and CC all in shock, first, before his eyes landed on me. We stayed there for a moment, gazing into each others' eyes, before he rushed up to me. I met him halfway, pulling him into a hug.

"Oh, God, I'm so glad you're okay!" I breathed, holding him as close as possible.

"I'm glad you're okay, too, Ash," he said, pulling back and looking into my eyes, a smile on his face. Then, he turned towards the other three. "You guys are all okay!" he said happily, giving them each a hug.

"Yeah. We're all here, safe and sound," Jinxx said, looking at each of us.

A door on the other side of the room opened, interrupting the moment. Two girls came out, in white dresses, one carrying a plate, and another a goblet. "Stand in a line beside each other, please," one of them instructed kindly. The nine of us quickly formulated a line. The girls came to each of us in turn. Each of the guy's from Fall Out Boy opened their mouths as they came, and placed a guitar pick shaped piece of bread into their mouths. (we're going to pretend the guitar picks don't say FOB on them since it's FOB and BVB. They're just regular white picks. Sorry!) Then, each of the boys drank from the goblet. Finally, the girls reached us, and we did the same. They left the room when they were finished.
