Chapter 3

(Y/N) POV

After cleaning up yesterday everyone thought it would be best if everyone would call it a day. Alfred told me to come back at the hospital at 11am, so I did and now im inside this strange machine that I have never seen. I stood inside it as i stared at the black panels that were inside. I couldn't see what was happening outside but all i could hear was Alfred typing on his keyboard. I could also hear Kao eating some chips from somewhere out there. "Alight im scanning you, you will hear some buzzing, dont worry about that, its normal" I could hear Alfred say from outside. As soon as he said that i heard buzzing all around me and these green lights going around me. Every time the light hit a part of my skin it tingled. I ignored the feeling as i tried to stay calm. As soon as I came to the hospital Alfred had dragged me over to this room and told me to get in this machine. I protested at first saying I wouldn't get in until i knew what it does but sort of gave in at the end. Oh and today Alfred acted like nothing had even happened yesterday with Mystery. Maybe he doesn't wanna bring it up or maybe he forgot? Who am I kidding, who could forget that? "Alight now lift your right hand up and wave" Alfred spoke again as the buzzing stopped. I did as he told me. It was a little awkward waving at nothing but a black panel. "Next hand, do the same" He told me after a few seconds of waving. I dropped my right hand and did the same waving motion with my left hand. "Okay stop now" after Alfred said that i could hear more key smashing coming from Alfred.  I stood still waiting for him to let me out of this god damn machine. "Okay now pretend you are walking then after that pretend you are running" I heard Alfred say again. What the hell? How much longer do i have to be in this machine tube thing? Never the less I did what he said. After a bit I stopped and i heard more key typing. I also couldn't hear Kao munching on chips, probably means he finished the packet of chips. Bastard, he didn't offer me any... I suddenly heard the door to the machine being opened "You can come out now" Alfred called out. As soon as i stepped out, nice fresh air hit against me. Oh man it was stuffy in there, did not like it at all. I looked over at Alfred seeing him on his computer spamming away at his keyboard buttons. On the screen looked like a diagram of my skeleton. "Not much luck here.... doesn't look much different than ours..." I heard him mumble. I looked over at Kao seeing him looking at strange liquids in the cupboards. While they were doing their thing i let my mind wonder back to yesterday... Mystery said he would be back...but when.... Suddenly I heard the door slam open making Alfred jump up in surprise "So this is where you guys were, hello!~" speak of the devil here is Mystery..... He stood at the door frame with a smile. I looked over at Alfred seeing him sink deeper into his chair and go back to his computer trying to ignore Mystery. Mystery stared at Alfred silently then his eyes fell on me. Crap, what does he want. "Hello again girl!~" He spoke coming closer to me. What the hell... he is acting like nothing happened yesterday.. Mystery came and put an arm around my shoulder, making me kinda uncomfortable... Alfred saw this and immediately said something "What the hell are you doing here, and get off her you are making her uncomfortable." Mystery pouted a little but obeyed and removed his arm from my shoulder and walked over to Alfred. I looked over to Kao quickly seeing he had stopped fiddling with the strange liquids and was watching Mystery. I looked back to see Mystery resting his arms on Alfred's head. Alfred looked like he was getting very annoyed. "Can you get off... and how the hell did you get in here without permission!" Alfred said swatting Mystery away. "aww, your boss doesn't need to get permission to enter places Alfred~" Mystery said walking back to me. Alfred glared at Mystery then returned back to his work on the computer. Mystery gave a bored sigh and looked over at me "So what are you guys doing?" He said with a smile. I remained quiet and Kao answered for me "We are examining her to see what she is and how to get her back to her world." Mystery nodded slightly and looked back at Alfred. Suddenly he got a kitchen knife out of his pocket and threw it at Alfred. Alfred didn't budge much, he just moved his head to the side a little letting the knife whiz past him and into the wall above the computer. "Jeremy, get out" was all Alfred said. Mystery made a small sad face then smiled "fine but im taking her with me!" he said as he grabbed me and dragged me out the room. "Oi! Jeremy! Im not done examining her!!" I heard Alfred call out behind but Mystery just kept dragging me through the hallways. It was kinda hard to keep up cause damn this purple motherfucker was fast. We stopped at the lobby letting me regain my breath. Mystery let go of me and smiled as he stared at me. I looked away over to where we came from to see a Alfred and Kao running towards us. Kao was almost to us but tripped and that also caused Alfred to trip over him, they both fell to the floor. I could hear Mystery dying from laughter next to me. I giggled a little, I mean cmon you have to admit that was a bit funny. Alfred got up with a sigh and walked over to us as Kao was wondering what the hell he tripped on. "Jeremy what the hell, I still need her to do a few more tests" Alfred said glaring at Mystery. "Aww but you guys are so boring, cmon hang out with meeee" Mystery complained. Jesus he looks like such a child now. "No and last I checked we arent friends!" Alfred yelled back at Mystery.
